Prema Lee Gurreri – Your Sacred Wealth Code
What if creating a wealthy life could be as simple as being who you are, and doing what you love? You have a unique internal design for wealth. This formula is encoded in your soul blueprint—and, like your fingerprint, it’s unlike that of any other human being. It’s called your Sacred Wealth Code®, and it is written in the universal language of purpose and prosperity. Your Sacred Wealth Code isn’t an investment guide, a pyramid scheme, or a sales manual. It isn’t even a “follow your passion to success” guide (although passion is an important part of your Wealth Code). Instead, this book is a key to unlock what your soul already knows: what makes you unique in the world, and how you can leverage your purpose, your desire, and your own set of “superpowers” to connect with your personal path to wealth.
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Prema Lee Gurreri, uncovered the Sacred Wealth Code and its accompanying body of work while on an internal quest to align with her own purpose and prosperity. Prior to discovering her own Wealth Code, Prema had created a well-known yoga studio and wellness center in Washington State. An acclaimed Vedic Astrologer, spiritual teacher, and coach, she nevertheless struggled to make things work in her business and life. After a harrowing “dark night of the soul,” during which she was called upon to release both her business and her marriage, she decided it was time to find out why, despite so much hard work and sacrifice, she was still so challenged around money and success. Using her insight as a Vedic Astrologer and intuitive, Prema undertook a deep, internal dive, and emerged not only with the knowledge of how to change her own life, but with a universal formula for creating true wealth and success that can be applied by anyone, in any field, at any stage of life. She joins me this week to discuss her book, Your Sacred Wealth Code.

How Public Banking Can Liberate Us From the Web of Debt
An Interview with Ellen Brown, author of “Web of Debt” and President of the Public Banking Institute
“I am nostalgic for the good old days … remember when PEOPLE robbed BANKS?” — Swami Beyondananda
Our guest this week, Ellen Brown, has looked at money from “both sides now.” Her book, “Web of Debt” is a deep, thoughtful and sometimes playful analysis of how the banking interests have created metastasizing debt that ends up enslaving the people of the world rather than helping them thrive. “Web of Debt” enjoys another distinction as well. In the past, the notion that the Federal Reserve is a tool of the bankers and NOT even a federal institution was proliferated primarily by right wing libertarians. Thanks to Ellen Brown, progressives are now aware of the Federal Reserve’s dark history, including the secret meetings where a small group of bankers persuaded then President Woodrow Wilson to promote the Federal Reserve Act in 1913, a decision Wilson came to deeply regret.
Fortunately, there is another side of money as well.
Since publishing Web of Debt in 2007, Ellen Brown has gone on to found the Public Banking Institute, dedicated to establishing and proliferating state and community banks, like the one that has been thriving in North Dakota since a coalition of farmers and laborers helped establish it nearly 100 years ago.
Public banks would not only be in competition with the “banking industry”, but can help fund the enterprises that can lead to local self-sufficiency and a genuinely sustainable economy. Even more exciting, Ellen makes a credible case for public ownership of our banking system and even turning the Federal Reserve into a public utility.
If you’re ready to be enlightened about money’s past, and inspired about its future, join us this Tuesday, September 3rd at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET. : http://omtimes.com/iom/shows/wiki-politiki-radio-show/
Or, find us on the Wiki archives on Wednesday: http://wikipolitiki.com/archives/
Oh, one more thing. As Ellen will tell you, Frank Baum’s “Wizard of Oz” was really an allegory about the money system in the 1890s, when farmers and laborers wanted “greenbacks” and silver currency so that more money would be circulating, and bankers wanted “tight money” so they could tighten the clamps on working people and farmers, making it easier for them to foreclose.
In 2011, when California was considering a public banking law, videographer Mary Cary and I used the “Wizard of Oz” to promote the initiative. Watch our video here:

The Planets This Month: September 2018
September begins with an air of thoughtfulness and hard work. Mercury moves into Virgo on September 5th so rational thinking is favored over subjective feelings. A day later, Saturn turns direct in determined Capricorn, so it’s very much back to business. After an industrious week, some of us may be prone to some negative escapism when the Sun opposes Neptune on September 7th, but we’re making progress and that’s what counts.
The New Moon in Virgo on the 9th, turns us toward more serious matters after a period of playful indulgences has passed. Many of us may be mulling over the nuts and bolts of our daily life. Work may be a concern or perhaps a health matter, or even how to our lives more efficiently. Also, on this day, Venus moves into jealous, manipulative and sometimes vengeful Scorpio. The following day, warrior mars moves into Aquarius to complete a very long cycle that started in May.
With Mercury opposing Neptune on September 13th, there’s a lot of confusion in the air and it’s difficult to be sure of people’s motives. Mars squares up to Uranus for the last time this year on September 18th, so tempers may flare once more, especially over love.
Fortunately, the last ten days of the month have a much more positive vibe. Mercury moves into Libra on September 21st bringing us a light-hearted and laid-back approach to life. The Sun follows suit the next day, heralding the Fall Equinox, a time of balance and harmony. An Aries Full Moon on September 24th is indicative of fresh optimism, enthusiasm and a sense of fun. It is square to Saturn, however – a gentle reminder that while we’re enjoying life, we do still have responsibilities.
Tune in on Monday at 6pm PT/9pm ET to find out more…

Food Sensitivities, Inflammation, and the Autoimmune Connection
A delightful chat with Dr. Elizabeth Yarnell about her mission and methods to improve lives simply by changing the way we think about food and anti-inflammatory diets. As a board-certified naturopath and designer of customized anti-inflammatory diets, Dr. Yarnell runs a nationwide food therapy clinic to help people discover the specific foods that not only taste good but make them feel good, too.
A 1999 diagnosis of multiple sclerosis forced Dr. Yarnell to re-think everything she thought she knew about health and inspired the now-patented invention of a quick and easy method for cooking whole foods that she introduced in her 2009 best-selling cookbook: “Glorious One-Pot Meals: A Revolutionary New Quick and Healthy Approach to Dutch Oven Cooking.” In 2011, she launched the “Fight MS with Food” project to investigate the connection between diet and autoimmune symptoms. In this episode Dr. Yarnell shares some of what she discovered, for example:
~ Causes of inflammation and how to minimize it
~ What are food sensitivities and how you can become allergic to food
~ The gold-standard test for finding food allergies
~ The connection between diet and autoimmune symptoms
~ Other things that can cause inflammation besides food
~ What is ‘Dutch Oven Cooking, plus so much more…
I only wished we’d had more than an hour, as you will hear how passionate Dr. Yarnell is on her quest to improve lives simply by changing the way we think about food. Learn more about Dr. Elizabeth Yarnell and take time to explore her healthy eating and natural lifestyle blog, “Effortless Eating for Healthier Bodies” at ElizabethYarnell.com. Then join us on August 31, at 7 PM ET at: http://omtimes.com/iom/category/lifestyle/the-autoimmune-hour/
