“This garden universe vibrates complete
Some may get a sound so sweet
Vibrations reach on up to become light
And then through gamma, out of sight
Between the eyes and ears there lie
The sounds of color and the light of a sigh
And to hear the sun, what a thing to believe
But it’s all around if we could but perceive.”
These were mystical words describing subtle energy and the magick that surrounds each and every one of us. There are some of us who have made this magick their life’s calling. They may be known as Shamans, Healers, Psychics and in the Pagan world, Witches. What is it like to be a Witch? How does one know if they have this calling? Are there communities of like-minded practitioners of these arts for sharing, learning and support?
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited is my favorite witch, Melanie Marquis. Melanie is a lifelong practitioner of magick and founder of the United Witches Global Coven and the organizer of Denver Pagans. She has written for Circle, Pentacle, and the American Tarot Association. Melanie’s books include The Witch’s Bag of Tricks, A Witch’s World of Magick, Beltane, and the 2019 ‘Coalition of Visionary Resources Award’ winner for the biography of Carl Llewellyn Weschcke. She is the co-creator of the Modern Spellcaster’s Tarot and the coauthor of Witchy Mama. Melanie lives in Denver, Colorado. Visit her online at http://www.melaniemarquis.com/. She joins me this evening to discuss all things magickal and a very special convention she’s founded and created for all mystical minds coming up this March in the San Francisco Bay area at which I am honored to be a presenter!

Viv Adcock – Out-creating Under-earning
Aired Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM PST / 4:00 PM EST
Have you ever thought about overwhelm and impossibly?
Did you realize they are both an illusion?
Let’s look at Overwhelm first.
Have you ever been so busy you didn’t know how you could add in one more thing and then you added one more thing, and lo and behold you were able to do that too?
A lot of people believe that they don’t have enough time to accomplish the things that they desire.
Or they believe they don’t have enough resources to purchase the things that they need.
There’s often this undercurrent that it’s not possible to have, be and do it all.
What if that was a lie that we tell ourselves to keep ourselves small and playing the safe game?
We just can’t handle it all.
If you think that you can’t do something or add something, you’re right you can’t.
However, the opposite is true too.
If you believe you can do anything you can.
And sometimes you surprise yourself too.
You could even out-create under earning!
Do you realize you are far more capable than you’ve ever given yourself credit for and far more able to do things that you’ve never imagined?
Join Viv Adcock & I LIVE on OmTimes Wednesday the 22nd in the USA and Thursday the 23rd in Australia!
You can even call 202-570-7057 and ask us questions! How does it get any better than that?
About Viv Adcock
WHAT IF THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU? EVER?
What if you stopped trying to fix what you have decided is wrong about you and instead headed in the direction of what’s right about you… would that change your life?
Have you always known there has to be more available? What if the purpose of life was to have FUN?
For many years I wrestled with feeling I was not good enough, that there was something inherently wrong with me; no matter how much I gave, how much I did or how much success I had. I judged ceaselessly that I was never enough. With this point of view about me so engrained, I created abusive friendships and relationships, where I swung between giving myself up for them and then fighting to have me. Sound familiar?
I knew there had to be more to life than what I was currently having, so I learnt and became involved with a vast array of natural therapies for over 20 years and searched and experimented with many modalities and philosophies, in the vain hope they would “fix me”. None of them did.
My true nature is that I am a ‘Possibilitarian’ – a seeker who does not give up, despite my crappy choices. And that is when Access Consciousness™showed up in my life…
I discovered Access Bars®, received a session and EVERYTHING changed. Nothing up until that point came close to the ease, lightness and fun that I experienced once I started using the tools of Access Consciousness.
These days I apply the Access tools to all my clinic sessions and have been stunned by the rapidity and immediate change this allows for my clients. It is truly empowering them to choose for themselves. Their knowing and other hidden talents surface, they are happier and at ease with who they are instead of constantly looking at the wrongness of themselves. The magic starts to show up the more they use the tools…
Now I travel the world facilitating a plethora of classes – Money Isn’t The Problem You Are, Salon Des Femmes, Talk To The Animals, Prosperity Consciousness, Being You Adventures and the Core Classes of Access (Bars and Foundation). I’m driven by my insatiable desire to share the tools, scatter seeds of possibilities and empower people to know that they know.
I dare you to repeat this mantra 10 times… All of life comes to me with Ease, Joy & Glory.
How does it get any better than that?

“Be Inspired! Inspire Others! Inspire Before We Expire! ~ILR
SÉANCE – part documentary, part ghost story – Taggart offers us haunting images exploring Spiritualist practices in the US, England and Europe: 150 of her original photographs, many of which have never been published, as well as rare historical photographs. Supported with a commentary on her experiences, a foreword by Dan Aykroyd, creator of Ghostbusters (1984) and fourth-generation Spiritualist, and illustrated essays from curator Andreas Fischer and artist Tony Oursler, SÉANCE examines Spiritualism’s relationship with human celebrity, its connections to art, science, and technology, and its intrinsic bond with the medium of photography. The book concludes with the debate over ectoplasm and how Spiritualism can move forward in the twenty-first century.
American photographer Shannon Taggart became aware of spiritualism as a teenager when her cousin received a message from a medium that revealed details about her grandfather’s death. In 2001, while working as a photojournalist, she began photographing where that message was received―Lily Dale, New York, home to the world’s largest spiritualist community, proceeding to other communities in, for example, Arthur Findlay College in the UK. Taggart expected to spend one summer figuring out the tricks of the spiritualist trade. Instead, spiritualism’s mysterious processes, earnest practitioners and neglected photographic history became an inspiration. Her project evolved into an 18-year journey that has taken her around the world in search of “ectoplasm”― the elusive substance that is said to be both spiritual and material.
Shannon Taggart is an artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work has been exhibited and featured internationally, including within the publications TIME, New York Times Magazine, Discover, and Newsweek, and her photographs have been recognized by Nikon, Magnum Photos and the Inge Morath Foundation, American Photography, and the Alexia Foundation for World Peace. Taggart’s monograph, SÉANCE, presents an 18-year long body of work on the religion of Spiritualism. For more, visit https://www.shannontaggart.com/.

What Are The Benefits Of Real Trust?
Aired Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 9:00 AM PST / 12:00 PM EST
We often hear people say things like “you have to earn my trust”, “you broke my trust”, “I trust you” “trust me”. One might take these statements of trust to represent some form currency that we exchange. No matter if we have trust or not, one thing for sure is there’s a lot of VALUE in trust. Could self approval and self love be at the root?
What can trust really do for us anyways?
When we don’t have trust, we don’t have connection, we don’t have peace of mind , we don’t have access to possibilities.
Once we do have trust, so many doors open and we begin to ALLOW.
Allow answers, allow gifts, allow love. Without trust we cannot allow.
“The gift of trusting is allowing and the gift in allowing is RECEIVING.”
Have you been asking?
Asking for answers, a way to be shown to you, a healing to occur, clarity to be experienced? If you are constantly asking but aren’t pairing it with trust, how can you be allowing yourself to receive the answer?
Tune in today to hear how trust and allowing are the foundational pieces to receiving.
What is it you’d like to Receive?
Noemi Grace and Lisa Berry bring you to a place to hear The Divine’s guidance on improving your trust, fine tuning your allowing and assist you to better receive.

Norman Solomon – The Oligarchs Among Us – The Battle for the Soul of the Democratic Party
Aired Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM PST / 5:00 PM EST
Interview with Journalist, Author and Media Critic Norman Solomon
“We have two political parties in this country – the Democratic Party and the un-democratic party.” — Swami Beyondananda
If they saw what the Republican Party has devolved to, Republican icons like Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, and even Barry Goldwater would flip in their crypts. The blatant heartlessness, self-centered short-sightedness, and downright insanity of a political party that has become a toxic cult, would certainly make the Democrats seem like a sane and viable alternative, right?
Well, here’s the elephant – and donkey – in the living room. In a political system where it costs the average Senator $14,000 to finance their re-election campaign, the oligarchs have a well-established foothold in that party too.
Our guest on Wiki Politiki this week, journalist, activist and author Norman Solomon has been involved with progressive politics for decades, working to move the Democratic Party beyond the “identity issues” that they have used to cobble coalitions, to addressing the “identical issues” we all face – like a clean environment and economic justice.
Norman Solomon is an American journalist, media critic, author and activist. His dozen books include “War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning Us to Death.” A full-length documentary film, narrated by Sean Penn, was based on “War Made Easy.” The New York Times review called the film “ultimately persuasive” and said: “Many of its arguments have been made before but Mr. Solomon digs deeper and hammers harder.”
Solomon is the founder of the Institute for Public Accuracy, a consortium of policy researchers and analysts. He is IPA’s executive director and the coordinator of its ExposeFacts program.
He is co-founder and national coordinator of the online organization RootsAction.org, which now has 1.5 million active supporters. In 2016, Solomon was elected as a Bernie Sanders delegate to the Democratic National Convention, where he was the coordinator of the independent Bernie Delegates Network. In 2012, running for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives from California’s 2nd Congressional District, he came within 0.1 percent of getting through the primary. Solomon wrote the nationally syndicated “Media Beat” weekly column from 1992 to 2009. He is a longtime associate of the media watch group FAIR (Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting).
Solomon has appeared as a guest on many media outlets including the “PBS News Hour,” CNN, MSNBC, Fox News Channel, “Democracy Now,” C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal,” public radio’s “Marketplace,” and NPR’s “All Things Considered.” His op-ed articles have appeared in a range of newspapers including the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Newsday, New York Times, Boston Globe, Miami Herald, USA Today, Philadelphia Inquirer, Baltimore Sun and The Hill. His articles have also appeared in the International Herald Tribune, Canada’s Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star.
Solomon’s books include “Made Love, Got War,” “Target Iraq,” “Wizards of Media Oz: Behind the Curtain of Mainstream News,” “The Trouble With Dilbert: How Corporate Culture Gets the Last Laugh,” “False Hope: The Politics of Illusion in the Clinton Era,” “The Power of Babble: The Politician’s Dictionary of Buzzwords and Doubletalk for Every Occasion,” and “Killing Our Own: The Disaster of America’s Experience With Atomic Radiation.”
If you’re interested in learning how we can put the “democratic” in Democratic Party, and not just take America back, but take her forward, please tune in this Tuesday, January 21th at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET. http://omtimes.com/iom/shows/wiki-politiki-radio-show/

Selfish in a Good Way: The Importance of Self-Care
Aired Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM PST / 1:00 PM EST
Of course we need to give. We give to others, we give to causes, organizations, charities, but what about ourselves? It may sound obvious that we need to care for ourselves, but so many find this difficult. They may even neglect self-care completely. Do you?
If you consider yourself a caregiver, a nurturer, one who loves to serve, prepare to be challenged this week. Take time out of your routine to look within and to be really, truly honest with yourself. Ask: “Am I caring for myself, too?”
If you answer in the negative, there is no time like the present to change course. Indeed this is the only time there is, so when else would you? Self-care is critically important, and each of us deserves it.
Self-care can take many forms. A number of these take very little time to accomplish, so leave that “I’m too busy” excuse at the door! For some people this can mean a daily practice such as journaling or meditation. For others this involves exercise, a walk in the fresh air, preparing and eating a good meal. The forms are as limitless as your creativity. No matter how you package it, self-care is absolutely critical. If your cup runs dry, how can you truly give to someone else?
Join me this week as we discuss the importance of self-care and how easy it is to incorporate into your life once you decide to do it. If you professionally or habitually care for others, please make sure you tune in: this could be the wake-up call you need!
I invite you to consider how you care for yourself, and if you don’t, I invite you to consider what you can start to do right now, today. As you think about the possibilities, enjoy a guided virtual “tour” with me as I take you through one of my favorite self-care rituals.
Take time for yourself; the world needs it, and you do, too!
