Dr. Kac Young – Crystal Power: 12 Essential Crystals for Healing and Health

In 1959 at the age of six, I was given a special birthday gift by a family member. The gift was a crystal radio kit, something that I had been asking for. A crystal radio employed a galena crystal, a natural mineral form of lead sulfide, that had semi-conductor properties. When touched with a special thin wire called a cat’s whisker, the crystal rectified radio band signals and generated enough current to operate a small earpiece for listening. I was thrilled to pick up stations from as far away from New York as Chicago and Canada and this solidified my thirst for knowledge of electronics and crystal properties at a very young age. In the late 1980’s, I began to appreciate the healing and metaphysical properties of crystals. How may crystals help us heal? Are there special crystals for each of us and how may we use them in our spiritual practices?

My guest this week on Vox Novus, Dr. Kac Young, is an expert on crystals as well as other forms of natural healing, hypnotherapy, and nutrition. Kac Young has been a producer, writer, and director in the Hollywood television industry for more than 25 years. Kac has also earned a PhD in Natural Health and a Doctorate in Naturopathy. She completed 36 courses in nutrition from Baylor University. Clients come to her for advice on health, nutrition, and spiritual well-being. Using her third Doctorate Degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy, she helps people manage weight control, smoking cessation, behavior modification, stress reduction, past-life regression, and phobia management. She is the author of 16 books including The Healing Art of Essential Oils, Cheese Dome Power, The Path to Fabulous, The Quick Guide to Bach Flower Remedies and Supreme Healing. She is also a licensed Religious Science Minister, a Certified Archetypal Therapist and Counselor; a Certified Meditation Teacher; a Career Coach for aspiring actors and directors; a Medical Qigong Teacher and a former pilot of private airplanes. Lower Ego Power and Difficulty Achieving Your Life’s Purpose

This week on “It’s Your Ego—Stupid!”, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely into the mirror of being able to achieve using our potential and ultimately fulfilling our life’s purpose. Each of us has been given many gifts which we can work with in order to fulfill our human and Divine purpose. A human purpose in which we can use our gifts in whatever life’s work we choose to undertake. Be it as a teacher, accountant, custodian, athlete, minister—any and all options available to us. A Divine purpose common to all, in which our human purpose provides us with the opportunity to be the Love, Life, and Energy—God Is, within our service to others, and ultimately to ourselves.

Unfortunately, for those with lower ego power the sense of disempowerment within their life often contributes to obstacles on their road to achievement and fulfilling their life’s purpose. Obstacles that include a lack of confidence and belief in oneself, questioning whether they deserve to achieve, allowing others to tell them what is important for them to achieve, and so on. Roles they may find their way into living, until they awaken, include the Underachiever, the Conformist, and the Dependent. During the show, I’ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when caught up in this energy. I’ll also be looking at specific insights needed to transform lower ego power into a healthier and more balanced place.
