Make A Non-Toxic Home with expert Sharon McRill
While we work hard to restore our health, many things in our home environment can be working against our immune system. Many store-bought cleaning products, personal care, and cosmetics contain listed and even unlisted ingredients that can be highly toxic.
In this episode of The Autoimmune Hour, host Sharon Sayler welcomes Sharon McRill, founder, and president of The Betty Brigade, an Ann Arbor-based organization, and relocation company that is a leader in recycling while downsizing and cleaning with nontoxic alternatives.
Two weeks after turning 50, Sharon McRill was diagnosed with pulmonary embolisms in both lungs. She was put in an ICU and placed on blood thinners for 3 months after that. This was her wake up call that we are not always making great decisions for ourselves and doctors don’t have all the answers. She began exploring healthy alternatives to seasonal stuffiness, lack of sleep, mood swings and even simple remedies for headaches. Now Sharon has detoxed her home and has made huge switches in her own decisions in what goes on her skin and in her body.
She will share us how to keep toxins out of our home and how to make non-toxic cleaners and personal care products that work just as well and often even better including the two things you need to STOP using right now! I was surprised, and I know you will be too…
Learn more about Sharon McRill at https://www.facebook.com/TheBettyBrigade/ And then join us Friday, March 30th at 7PM ET for this info-packed, immune-supporting chat.

Robert Kopecky – How to Get to Heaven (Without Really Dying)
Most people believe that you must die to get to heaven, but those who have suffered near-death experiences tell a different tale; our quest for happiness and peace can be found while we’re alive. Although we might feel lost at times, our internal, authentic selves truly know why we’re here. Living through difficulties is part of growing into our authentic selves. The secret is in not allowing life to live you, but in knowing what drives you and choosing to live life on your own terms.
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, award winning illustrator, art director and animator Robert Kopecky, knows this well. Robert had three near death experiences, and with each gained insight and perspective on living our best life in this life now. Robert explores and teaches about the lessons he learned. He shared his experiences in his first book, How to Survive Life (and Death), and blogs at BeliefNet, The Mindful Word, and Soul Life Times. He joins me this week to discuss his new book, How to Get to Heaven (Without Really Dying).

Living With Chronic Pain – The Healing Process
This week Cynthia Rose will talk about living with chronic pain and how she navigated her way through it. After living with pain for many years and being told she would have to live that way she worked through many modalities and eventually healed. Years of western and eastern treatments was part of the process of healing.
“I know determination is my strongest card because I never was willing to believe that I couldn’t heal.” This show is sharing my personal story in the hopes that anything or something I share may help you.
She will share why she says chronic pain was the path of compassion and surrender What ultimately happened was a complete transformation of her life and her outlook on life.
Whether you are in emotional pain or physical pain there are strong parallels for pain in general. She became the phoenix rising above her own ashes of her life to stand in her sunlight. This will not be a fluffy talk but rather an honest and truthful perspective about the journey and not for the faint of heart. Join us for a serious discussion on living with chronic pain and healing from pain. The healing process is a dance some of us do through our bodies and you can do it!
