Kevin Kortan – Sounding into Silence
Aired Thursday, 25 April 2019, 9:00 AM EST / 6:00 AM PST
The call to life beckons us to contemplate our capacity to respond to our deepest questions. How does one grow in “response-ability” to life? Responsibility compels us to exercise the flexibility, adaptability and integration of body, mind and soul. The capacity for internal awareness frees us to respond back to life. Sounding is a vessel with the capacity to gently guide our internal awareness into the night, the darkness, the silence and womb of knowing.
Join voice master Kara Johnstad and guest Kevin Kortan, originator of Evolutionary Yoga™, as they discuss an integrative and innovative approach that unites Yoga, Tantra, Somatics, and Embodied Education. Kevin offers insights into the role that sounding, chanting, and mantra repetition has in bringing us into an internal awareness.
For sound enthusiasts and explorers, enjoy Kevin’s courageous journey from sacred sound and music to music for the stage and back to sacred, inner sound. He will take us through the curves and turns of mantra in motion, chanting in Sanskrit, English, and other languages and healing the wound of being judged about our voice.
About Kevin Kortan:
Praised as a “master of translation” and “an excellent teacher who makes his classes challenging for the experienced, yet understandable for the beginner.” He enjoys working with people from all walks of life. Much of Kevin’s teaching is done one-on-one in private sessions in the time-honored tradition of adapting yoga for the individual.

Dr. Heather Lynn – Evil Archaeology
Aired Wednesday, 24 April 2019, 8:00 PM ET
I launched Destination Unlimited because of my life-long fascination with both science and spirituality and how these two disciplines intersect. Archeology is the science that studies human history through the excavation of ancient sites and the analysis of artifacts found at those sites. Some of those sites and the artifacts found within them have had curses, possession and other negative entities attributed to them. Is this real? Can the archaeological record prove the existence of demons and malevolent entities?
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Dr. Heather Lynn, is an expert in this field and what she has to share may surprise you! Heather Lynn is a true Renaissance Woman with multiple accomplishments in many fields. She is an author, historian, and renegade archaeologist, on a quest to uncover the truth behind ancient mysteries. She holds numerous degrees and certificates in both history and archaeology and is a member of professional organizations, including: the American Historical Association, the Society for Historical Archaeology (SHA), Association of Ancient Historians, and the World Archaeological Congress. She left a life in academia to pursue her fascination with the unexplained and now investigates ancient mysteries, lost civilizations, hidden history, ancient aliens, and the occult. Heather’s work exposes our hidden history, challenging the accepted narrative found in mainstream history books. In addition to appearances on radio programs like Coast to Coast AM and Fade to Black, Heather has been a historical consultant for television programs, including History’s Ancient Aliens. In her spare time, she plays the French horn in a local symphony orchestra whose performances raise money to provide art and cultural education to low-income communities. She loves tennis, classical music, and a good cup of tea.
Her website is www.drheatherlynn.com and she joins me this week to discuss her new book, Evil Archaeology: Demons, Possessions and Sinister Relics.

Dr. Harra will help you understand the unique dynamic at work in your relationship so that you can have clarity and feel in control. Call in and find out what fate you and your love interest are really meant to have.
Tune in to Miracle Guidance for Everyday Life Tuesday at 7pm ET to discover if you and your partner are a match.

From Trauma to Transformation – How To Make Our Political Crisis A Rebirth
Aired Tuesday, 23 April 2019, 5:00 PM EST / 2:00 PM PST
Interview with Author and Political Consultant Eleanor LeCain
“If crisis precipitates evolution, the chances of precipitation are 100%.” — Swami Beyondananda
My comedian colleague Will Durst proclaims that the body politic is suffering from PTSD — President Trump Stress Disorder. While the trauma is palpable, it’s also important to recognize — as one of my correspondents recently shared — “beneath every festering pus hole is a deeper infection.”
In this next phase of the seemingly never-ending election season, we are once again being diverted to personalities and surface issues — when the deeper crisis is demanding to be addressed. From climate change to political climate change, we are called upon to move past divisive rhetoric to a unifying vision. As Van Jones pointed out several years ago, Martin Luther King’s famed speech was “I have a dream” not “I have a complaint.”
So other than wanting Trumpty Dumpty to have a great fall, what DO the sane and reverent majority want? What is our dream, our vision for a healthy future? Where is the opportunity in the crisis, and how do we unify to bring it forth?
Our guest this week, Eleanor LeCain, is particularly suited for this conversation. She is both a visionary and political strategist, who advises candidates on all areas of domestic policy and campaign strategy. She has extensive experience in successfully electing progressives at the federal, state and local level. She currently serves as the top Issues advisor to the presidential candidate Marianne Williamson. In 2016, she was the National Director of the She Wins We Win campaign to elect Democratic women to Congress. In 2014, she was campaign manager for Marianne Williamson for Congress in Los Angeles. In 2012, she helped Elizabeth Warren win a seat in the US Senate.
Her book, Breakthrough Solutions: How to Improve Your Life and Change the World by Building on What Works, has an Introduction by the Dalai Lama. The book profiles key innovations in areas such as education, crime, green jobs, and ending poverty. Her articles are published widely from the New York Times to the Boston Business Journal to Le Monde in Paris, France. She hosts her own show, All Together Now, on PRN radio.
If you’re seeking a visionary yet grounded approach to a unifying and forward-thinking movement, please tune in this Tuesday, April 23rd at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET if you’re ready to be educated, inspired and activated! http://omtimes.com/iom/shows/wiki-politiki-radio-show/

One more thing… How YOU and WE Can Make a Difference
Have you noticed that regardless of which of the two political parties you vote for, neither of them seem to be willing to confront Monsanto and agribusiness? Are you disgusted and frustrated by the stonewalling by the two-party duopoly? Are you ready to empower a truly effective “third-way” movement that can move the dial?
