Corinne Zupko – From Anxiety to Love
Anxiety, fear, panic–debilitating disorders that affect 40 million Americans over the age of 18 every year. More than 18% of the population struggle with these issues, making it difficult for them to live life fully, freely and lovingly. Many of us suffer these to a lesser degree.
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Corinne Zupko, knows what it is like to live a fear based life. Corinne personally struggled with debilitating anxiety for nearly three decades. Through this difficult path came a series of radical revelations and healings that allowed her move past her fears and find the miracle of light and love that is the birthright of everyone.
Corinne is a licensed counselor and keynote speaker. She has helped thousands of individuals through her one-on-one counseling, weekly meditation classes for corporations, and the largest virtual conference of A Course in Miracles in the world, through the organization Miracle Share International, which she cofounded. Her website is FromAnxietytoLove.com and she joins me this week to discuss her new book, From Anxiety to Love.

Robert Kopecky – How to Get to Heaven (Without Really Dying)
Most people believe that you must die to get to heaven, but those who have suffered near-death experiences tell a different tale; our quest for happiness and peace can be found while we’re alive. Although we might feel lost at times, our internal, authentic selves truly know why we’re here. Living through difficulties is part of growing into our authentic selves. The secret is in not allowing life to live you, but in knowing what drives you and choosing to live life on your own terms.
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, award winning illustrator, art director and animator Robert Kopecky, knows this well. Robert had three near death experiences, and with each gained insight and perspective on living our best life in this life now. Robert explores and teaches about the lessons he learned. He shared his experiences in his first book, How to Survive Life (and Death), and blogs at BeliefNet, The Mindful Word, and Soul Life Times. He joins me this week to discuss his new book, How to Get to Heaven (Without Really Dying).

Arielle Ford – Your Holiness: Discover the Light Within
Every generation has its thought leaders who leave an indelible mark on the world. Born of their personal pain, experience and life lessons, these leaders rise to bring wisdom and light so that others may benefit, heal and grow. Our generation was blessed with the enduring wisdom and presence of Debbie Ford.
Debbie was a New York Times best-selling author of ten books. Her first masterpiece, The Dark Side of the Light Chasers, transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people by showing them how to embrace their shadow selves and find wholeness. Followed by groundbreaking books including Spiritual Divorce, Secret of the Shadow, The Right Questions, Why Good People Do Bad Things and the Best Year of Your Life, Debbie’s literary legacy was thought to be completed with her transition in February 2013.
But death was not the end of sharing wisdom for the determined Debbie and her magic continued when her beloved sister, Arielle Ford, was mystically guided to bring to fruition a book that Debbie wrote sometime in the last years of her earthly adventure.
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited is my dear friend Arielle Ford. She joins us to share the story of her sister’s amazing life and afterlife. Arielle is the best-selling the author of The Soulmate Secret, Wabi Sabi Love and Turn Your Mate into your Soulmate. She is also renowned for her work helping to launch the best-selling careers of Deepak Chopra, Maryanne Williamson, Neale Donald Walsch and of course, her little sister Debbie Ford. She joins me this week to discuss Debbie’s “heaven sent” book, Your Holiness—Discover the Light Within.

Dr. Danny Penman – The Art of Breathing
It’s something that we do thousands of times a day without thinking about it. We do it from seconds after birth until our final moment of life. It gets faster when we exercise and slower when we rest. We may hold this underwater and for certain medical test. Extraordinary beauty has been said to take this away. This gift of life is our breath and learning to use it mindfully can promote health, stress reduction, a deeper understanding of ourselves and peace.
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Dr. Danny Penman, knows well the value of both breathing and mindfulness. Danny is a feature and comment writer for the UK’s Daily Mail and has worked for The Independent and the BBC. He is co-author with Mark Williams of the international best-seller Mindfulness. He joins me this week to discuss his new, beautiful and breathtaking book, The Art of Breathing: The Secret of Living Mindfully.

Lily Sanders - Truth to Triumph
Where are you in your life right now? How much of your life was pre-patterned by your childhood experience, your relationship with your parents and family and how your young mind, heart and soul were shaped by that relationship? Was there joy and security or pain, fear and uncertainty? Are you re-experiencing those patterns in your adult relationships and are they positive, loving and affirming or something else?
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Lily Sanders, grew up in a domestically violent home, and used ballet class as her sanctuary. That became a springboard to a successful career as a dancer, TV and film actress, Broadway performer and later successful multiple franchise owner. But domestic abuse followed her long into adulthood, risking her life and that of her son…until she took the steps to learn to love herself unconditionally and connect with the Source power of love. Today, she is a highly successful coach in New York helping women live fully empowered, happy lives. She joins me this week to discuss her experiences and book, Truth to Triumph: A Spiritual Guide to Finding Your Truth.

Nick Redfern - The Slenderman Mysteries
Growing up in the fifties and sixties in Brooklyn, New York, I often heard stories…stories that today would be called “urban legends”…about evil beings and people. Often told by older kids, camp counselors and some adults, these stories were designed to frighten, perhaps intimidate and most definitely nurture nightmares. These were the pre-digital, pre-cyberspace days, and story-telling was a verbal art form. With the advent of the internet, apps and social media, the dissemination of these stories has become immediate, widespread, and sometimes with profound and tragic results.
Such is the story of The Slenderman, a character birthed as a “creepypasta” internet meme in 2009 that not only frightened young imaginations but resulted in the tragic stabbing of a 12 year old girl by two classmates in 2014. Is Slenderman a modern phenomenon or does it go much deeper historically and in our psyches?
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited is Nick Redfern. Nick is the author of more than 40 books on the strange, mysterious and unexplained. He has appeared on more than seventy television shows including Ancient Aliens, America’s Book of Secrets, The Unexplained Files and UFO Hunters. His website is http://nickredfernfortean.blogspot.com/ and he joins me this week to talk all things mysterious and discuss his new book, The Slenderman Mysteries: An Internet Urban Legend Comes to Life.

Debra Silverman - The Missing Element
Valentine’s Day…love is in the air! This Roman pagan festival, turned day of remembrance of two Christian martyrs named Valentine by the Church, was romanticized by Shakespeare and Chaucer in their works and turned into the Hallmark Holiday that we know and love (or dread) in 1913. Each year more than 144 million Valentine cards are exchanged, making it the second largest greeting card holiday, not to mention flowers, chocolates, jewelry and other tokens of affection. Projections are that 18.2 billion dollars will have been spent in the United States alone when this day is over! While love may be in the air, many ask, is love in their stars? Is there a connection between romantic compatibility and our birth and progressive astrological charts?
Joining me this week on Destination Unlimited to address this question and other matters astrological is Debra Silverman. Debra is part comedienne, part psychologist, part astrologer and All Real! She helps people turn on their own inner observer to see the things they say and do in a totally objective way. In private practice for more than 38 years, Debra uses astrology and her own system called “The 4 Elements” or “4E” for short as tools to help people step into their own power. She’s the author of The Missing Element: Inspiring Compassion for the Human Condition, numerous columns, hosted her own radio show and her YouTube channel has more than 3 million views! Her websites are: thestarcommunity.com and debrasilvermanastrology.com

Linda Kohanov - The Five Roles of a Master Herder
We live in a world of complicated relationships. Professionally and personally, these relationships are driven by the traits each of us brings to them and the roles we assume. With disparate approaches to these relationships, problem solving, team building and progress may be difficult to achieve without a deeper understanding of the part each of us play. Is there an older, deeper, and simpler form of wisdom that we can call upon to better define our roles and succeed in both the work place and personal life?
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Linda Kohanov, says there is and it comes from good old-fashioned “horse sense.” Linda is beloved for her groundbreaking articulation of “the way of the horse,” an experiential wisdom known to riders for centuries but little studied or adapted for off-horse use. Linda has used this new model with executive teams at such companies as Nike, Chub Insurance and Raytheon. She is the author of The Power of the Herd and bestseller, The Tao of Equus and speaks and teaches internationally. She established Eponaquest Worldwide to explore the healing potential of working with horses and offers programs on everything from emotional and social intelligence, leadership, stress reduction and parenting consensus to build mindfulness. Her website is eponaquest.com and she joins me this week to discuss her new book, The Five Roles of a Master Herder—A Revolutionary Model for Socially Intelligent Leadership.

Sarah Bamford Seidelmann - Swimming with Elephants
Imagine this scenario. You come from a long line of physicians. You follow the family tradition, study medicine and practice for twenty years. But something is missing. Something does not feel right. Something does not feel good about what you are doing and the way you are doing it. You take a leave from your practice, a leap of faith and venture out to find a different approach to healing those you are called to work with and ultimately, heal yourself.
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Sarah Bamford Seidelmann, actually lived this story. Sarah is a fourth-generation physician turned shamanic healer and life coach, who deeply enjoys shenanigans! She’s a frequent blogger at Maria Shriver’s site for Architects of Change and has led sold-out retreats combining surfing and shamanism in Hawaii and a sacred pachydermal pilgrimage to Thailand. She loves to help others find their “feel good” so they can live courageously and enthusiastically. Her website is followyourfeelgood.com and she joins me this week to discuss her book, Swimming with Elephants – My Unexpected Pilgrimage from Physician to Healer.
