However, the overall plan seems to gloss over the inconvenient truth that we must restore the soil and microbiome, and “overgrow” chemical farming and glyphosates (Round-Up) that depletes our soil.

Our guest this week on Wiki Politiki is Dave Sandoval, co-founder of Purium, provider of plant-based nutritional products since 1994, and a successful “green” entrepreneur who DOES care about the soil. As Swami has said, “Going green can get us out of the red and keep us in the pink.”

Dave Sandoval, has made it his life’s mission to change the world for the better. From nutrition and the environment to domestic violence and poverty, Dave has advocated on behalf of many causes. The Planets This Week: February 11, 2019

The astro headline of the week is warrior planet Mars moving into gentle Taurus where it will be until March 30th. This will be a welcome reprieve after a hectic six weeks while Mars was in Aries. Mars is usually very happy with Aries but this time not so much as it was forming so very challenging angles to the outer planets. Now, while Mars is in Taurus, we can expect a slower pace, much more methodical, pragmatic and practical.

Before Mars moves into Taurus on Thursday, he will be making his final tough aspect when he conjuncts unpredictable Uranus. This is a volatile and rageful energy that brings unexpected situations and encounters. This is especially true if you are born towards the end of any of the cardinal signs – Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.

Also, this week, communication planet Mercury moves into dreamy Pisces. This is an extra long Mercury cycle because it will turn retrograde on March 5th until March 28th. Mercury is the planet that is connected to our thought processes, logic, understanding and of course communication. It isn’t a good fit when it’s with Pisces as this sign is more about emotions and feelings. When the two come together it’s a disjointed energy.

Mercury turns retrograde about three times a year for three weeks each time. This Mercury retrograde period promises to be a tough one filled with miscommunication, confusion and misunderstandings. The best way to counter-balance this energy is to be more creative and to use the right side of your brain. Performing arts, intuition, music – anything that’s connected to the sign Pisces. Care and compassion for yourself and others is another way to dissipate potentially fraught situations.

Dreaming of the Impossible

Years ago I had a dream. I remember being a journalist in high school and how much I desired to be like Dan Rather – someone who gave the people the truth rather than hide and lie about what was happening out there. And then what happens to so many people, happened to me. I let my dad talk me out of it. He said I should go for a real job. At that time I believed the lie that what I dreamed was not possible. Which meant I spent the better part of 25 years after that trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life.

Now I don’t regret anything that has transpired in my life and I know every choice I made made me the person I am today. I am grateful for all of it. I also know that the Universe heard that dream and has been working on me and the world to bring that dream to fruition even though I had forgotten all about it.

So here I am almost three decades later giving birth to that dream. I am not choosing to be a journalist about the dirt on politics or uncover the lies in the world. At least not in the usual way one would go about doing that. I am more interested in exposing the myths of imperfection we have all bought about ourselves. Destroying and uncreating the lies that we have all decided we are not worthy, that we do not deserve to our dreams, and that we are alone in this world.

I am here to introduce new possibilities. A place where anyone, including you, can create the life they have only dreamed of. Would you like to join me on the day this new adventure begins?
