A life of adventure:
As a boy, living among the Indians of New Mexico, Bob learned early to follow the old ways of the Navajos and Pueblos. Their teaching about how Great Spirit moves in all things eventually helped him survive poverty, street gangs of housing projects and the fists of his drunken stepfather. His understanding of that truth galvanized in him the clarity, courage and confidence to become efficient in the uplifting and enriching of lives around the world. Bob Trask’s life has been one of constant adventure, accomplishment and self-discovery. His multiple careers, starting at age 12 have each taught and molded his thinking.
In 1976, as a Master Sea Captain, he brought his vessel and passengers safely through a deadly hurricane and this event became a catalyst in discovering his life’s purpose in helping uplift and enrich the lives of others through their understanding of their spiritual power.
In 1979 Bob created the non-profit ARAS Foundation. Under that umbrella he, his wife Mary Trask and their team have fed and clothed thousands of poor and homeless families, sent more than 6000 bicycles to African villages and regularly support orphanages, children’s hospitals and other excellent organizations.
Bob Trask has four successful books: Living Free in English, Spanish and Portuguese; God’s Phone Number in English and Portuguese, Romancing the Soul in Japanese and English and Tulipp The Layman’s Guide to Emergency Medical Rescue in English. And ready for publication are three new works: the children’s series: Tales from the Great Meadow, the instructive: The Be, Do, Have Triangle, and the novel: Night Lady.
To date, Bob has designed and taught personal success programs to hundreds of thousands in thirteen countries and now brings his expertise and experience to his role as minister of Unity Spiritual Center.

Candidate Tulsi Gabbard Focuses on IDENTICAL Issues, Not Identity Issues

Once again it’s time for the (bad) dog and (lame) pony show called “electoral politics” which seems to be designed to keep the American people occupied fighting over “identity issues” instead of gathering around the IDENTICAL ISSUES we all face, cultivating the virtues and values that 90% of us share, and using those to set a standard for governance.
While Presidential campaigns have long been called out as “beauty pageants” and “popularity contests,” the 2016 campaign stood out in stark contrast. It was an “ugly pageant” and “unpopularity contest”, as people rushed to the polls to vote against the candidate they hated more. The results were conclusive: “None-of-the-above” would have won in a landslide.
And here we are once again, with the Democratic (sic) Party establishment set on going back to what the voters didn’t want in 2016, and polishing their image as “we’re not as bad as the other guys”, while a Democratic socialist insurgency seeks to “fight the power” and pull the party leftward.
In the midst of this replay of a scenario that handed Trumpism a victory in 2016, there is one candidate who stands out as sane … coherent … courageous … qualified, and on the scene to be of service, and who is ready to bust the divide-and-conquer game that “pits one group of us against the other for their own gain.”
That candidate is Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), who served as Bernie Sanders’ campaign manager in her home state, and then resigned her position at the Democratic National Committee over how she perceived Bernie to be cheated out of delegates by the DNC.
We had the opportunity to meet her when she came to speak at the University of San Francisco on March 16th … and we were not disappointed. In addition to calling our corruption that is kept in place by both major parties, she announced herself ready, willing and able to stand up to the military industrial complex, and re-purpose billions of dollars toward the wellbeing of the American people, and not the American empire. Unlike every President since Bush Senior, Tulsi actually served in the military during the Iraq War. Consequently, she has no illusions what war looks like, and she is decidedly against “wars of regime change” and “not intimidated by stars on the shoulder”.
She is better than “plainspoken” — she is “real spoken”, forthcoming about her Hindu faith and the “spirit of aloha” that unites us. Yes, yes, yes. George Burns the cynic put it well: “Sincerity and honesty. If you can fake those, you got it made.”
My BS detector says Tulsi is real — a real person, taking on this mission to be in service to our country and its people, not her ego. I am enrolled in seeing her get the 65,000 individual donations that will qualify her for the debates. I’m betting that if you listen in, you will too.

The astro headlines of the week are love planet Venus moving into Pisces, communication planet Mercury turning direct while action planet Mars moves into Gemini.
Under the influence of Venus in Pisces from March 26th until April 20th and depending on where this ingress transits through your birth chart, you could be an incurable romantic. You might be prone to fantasy when it comes to love, seeing the god or goddess in everyone you meet, and thinking that you’ve met your dream partner. Practicality and discrimination go out the window, and you’re willing to sacrifice it all for your ideal love.
Boundaries become more fluid, and it’s harder to tell where you end and your beloved begins. In fact, you probably won’t care, as you long to merge into ecstatic oneness. You might have a tendency to lose yourself in relationship-land and could be quite hedonistic. Illusion and disillusion are the downsides of this dreamy transit. Be sure to get a reality check from a more objective third party before making any long-term commitments.
Mercury finally turns direct in Pisces! This means we make decisions based on feelings rather than logic now. You’re also more sensitive to other people’s feelings, and your decisions could be motivated by compassion. You may not be able to explain how you came to a certain conclusion. Words might elude you now, and you long to express yourself in non-verbal ways.
Finally, action planet Mars moves into Gemini so you may have trouble maintaining focus on anything for very long. Many of us are speaking at a fast pace, or you could dominate conversations by grabbing the microphone without letting someone else have a chance to talk. You’ll be great at going out to get information, but not so good at processing it or making up your mind.
