Marc Brinkerhoff – The Intergalactic Mission

In the Styx 1977 classic recording, “Come Sail Away”, Dennis De Young shared a lyric that resonated with me and mirrored experiences I had as a child. He wrote, in part,

“A gathering of angels
Appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope
And this is what they said
They said, come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me ….

I thought that they were angels
But to my surprise
We climbed aboard their starship
We headed for the skies

Singing, come sail away, come sail away Come sail away with me…”

This lyric implied contact with extraterrestrial or extradimensional beings that were friendly and caring. Many have had experiences they called “abductions” that were far from friendly. Are there both friendly and unfriendly beings visiting us and what are their motivations and intentions?

My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Marc Brinkerhoff, knows these beings well! Marc is a Contactee, Lucid Remote Viewer of his ET Family, Crew and spacecraft. Kate Farrell – Story Power

Recently, Farrell presented workshops for adults on the art of storytelling at the San Francisco Public Library, Mechanics Institute, and the San Francisco Writers Conference. Kate is now offering virtual workshops for libraries and writing groups, as well as performing virtually as a storyteller.

Lower Ego Vulnerability and Difficulty Growing the Quality of Your Mind

This week on “It’s Your Ego—Stupid!”, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely into the mirror of growing our mind with truth and how lower ego vulnerability can get in the way of this happening. We must each make a concerted effort to learn what we need to learn and unlearn the faulty truths, beliefs, attitudes, and values we may have acquired along the path of our lives. Something our brain helps us to do, but for which we must take ultimate responsibility. Otherwise, we run the risk of acquiring lots of inaccurate, distorted, and even disturbed ideas, beliefs, values, and prejudices, that we often have no clue is taking place. Such is the insidious process of unhealthy, imbalanced ego energy that can be at work in our lives.

Unfortunately, for those with lower ego vulnerability the growth of their mind is being affected by difficulties recognizing their weaknesses, imperfections, and vulnerability. They lack healthy amounts of emotion including anxiety, anger, guilt, and love, that can motivate them to look more closely at their thinking and question or change it when and where needed. They often dislike and keep their distance from emotion. While viewing it as only serving to compromise their ability to form beliefs, attitudes and values based on rational and logical reasoning alone. Roles they often come to live in include the Loner, the Logician, and the Sociopath. During the show, I’ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when caught up in this energy. I’ll also be looking at specific insights needed to transform lower ego vulnerability into a healthier and more balanced place.

At the most politically contentious time since the Civil War, can you imagine what it would take to “reunite America”? You can’t? Well our guest this week, Mark Gerzon, can. He has written a book called the “Reunited States of America,” and his life work for the past half-century has been bringing all sides together in fruitful conversation.

Mark Gerzon is the president of Mediators Foundation and is one of the key architects of the field of global leadership and an experienced facilitator in high-conflict zones. He has advised a wide variety of organizations including the US Congress, multinational corporations, and UNDP. The author of numerous books, including Leading Through Conflict and Global Citizens, his most recent book is The Reunited States of America: How We Can Bridge the Partisan Divide.

Concerned about the increasing polarization in American communities, Mark has spent the last two decades working on the ideological frontier between Left and Right. He co-designed and served as head facilitator for the US Bipartisan Congressional Retreats in the late 1990s, and has spent the following years participating in a wide variety of efforts to deepen dialogue across the political spectrum. He is currently developing with his colleagues a multi-pronged strategy to build a transpartisan movement in the United States.

Studies have shown that more than two thirds of Americans would prefer solving problems together to sowing more divisiveness and discord. Our current electoral system is dependent on two forces – first, the vested interests that donate the huge sums of money to finance the campaigns; second, the “true-believer” voters who provide the energy on the ground as the voting blocs who put the candidates over the top. Thanks to new applications of technology to identify “solution voters”, we now have an opportunity to access and activate this new “silent majority”.

So, can the majority of us work together to move forward the political agenda that the vast majority of us want – election integrity, end to gerrymandering, money out of politics, working together to solve problems instead of engaging in the lose-lose state of war that has marred politics for the past two generations? Putting a New Spin on the Chakras

The chakras aren’t really pretty, swirling, vortexes of light, that somehow get messed up and you can fix them by wearing red colored glasses or green pants.

Oh, if it were only that easy.

Understanding the chakras as a model of consciousness which, like pure white light before it passes through the prism, is completely invisible.

The Chakras Get an Upgrade

There aren’t many of the esoteric philosophies and new age adaptations that I teach or am even interested in.

But one did catch my attention and, after a bit of examination I discovered it had enormous teaching potential. That one what the Chakras.

Now, most people regard them as pretty, swirling, vortexes of light, hanging out in various places in the body. Like the image at the top of this email… pretty girl, pretty lights and Sanskrit words.

You know, the word chakra in Sanskrit simply means wheel. And, of course, the whole point of a wheel is to roll, or spin if you prefer.

But the chakras aren’t literal, they are metaphorical. They represent the flow of life, which is in constant motion.

The chakra are not literal wheels, they are ARCHETYPES.

Now I know that flies in the face of what we in the west have come to believe they are, but indulge me for a minute.

The western mind sees everything literally, physically and objectively. It has a hard time grasping things symbolically. In fact, the west believes that if it isn’t physical and objective, it isn’t real. Our definition of reality is that you can see it, hear it, touch it, smell it or taste… or all the above.

So it should come as no surprise, that we would try to turn a metaphor in to a literal fact. Like the statue of liberty is not liberty but only a symbolic representation of it, even so the chakras are represent something extremely important. What is this extremely important thing the symbolize?

The chakras are archetypes that represent you!

They are aspects of your consciousness. They are aspects of your being. Like light shining through a prism reveals its manifest nature, so the light of consciousness, shining through the prism of the mind, reveals all of the aspects of human existence.
