The Wound Kept Getting Reopened

Sometimes she could anticipate that the wound would be triggered. But other times she was blindsided by the wound’s reactiveness.

“Why won’t you go away?”, she said. It seemed as if the wound replied, “I am here to stay.”

Eventually the wound silently overtook her life, and it affected her mind, body, and soul. She began to see herself as wounded, and identified herself with the symptoms of the wound, like depression, self-doubt, and low self-esteem.

She lost herself and peace and joy eluded her. She could feel her light dimming and her vitality slipping away.

She suffered greatly, not knowing what else to do, as the wound become chronic, integrating itself throughout her life.

How can we free ourselves from systemic wounds and our over-identification with them? How can we find ourselves again when our light has been dimmed by the wound? Can we recognize the wound as a program and rewire it with love?

In this episode of Access to Angels and Grace, Lisa Berry and Noemi Grace share an uplifting dialogue on these questions. Marc Brinkerhoff – The Intergalactic Mission

Lower Ego Vulnerability and Difficulty Growing the Quality of Your Mind

This week on “It’s Your Ego—Stupid!”, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely into the mirror of growing our mind with truth and how lower ego vulnerability can get in the way of this happening. We must each make a concerted effort to learn what we need to learn and unlearn the faulty truths, beliefs, attitudes, and values we may have acquired along the path of our lives. Something our brain helps us to do, but for which we must take ultimate responsibility. Otherwise, we run the risk of acquiring lots of inaccurate, distorted, and even disturbed ideas, beliefs, values, and prejudices, that we often have no clue is taking place. Such is the insidious process of unhealthy, imbalanced ego energy that can be at work in our lives.

Unfortunately, for those with lower ego vulnerability the growth of their mind is being affected by difficulties recognizing their weaknesses, imperfections, and vulnerability. They lack healthy amounts of emotion including anxiety, anger, guilt, and love, that can motivate them to look more closely at their thinking and question or change it when and where needed. They often dislike and keep their distance from emotion. While viewing it as only serving to compromise their ability to form beliefs, attitudes and values based on rational and logical reasoning alone. Roles they often come to live in include the Loner, the Logician, and the Sociopath. During the show, I’ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when caught up in this energy. I’ll also be looking at specific insights needed to transform lower ego vulnerability into a healthier and more balanced place.
