Higher Ego Flexibility and Difficulty Coping with Stressors and Stress

This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely into the mirror of our ability to cope with stressors and stress, that are a part of each of our lives. These include the work, health, financial, marital, and familial stressors that contribute to the build-up of stress in us over time, and which we are called upon to manage so that they don’t get the better of us. Stressors that can manage us rather than our managing them when we are failing to manage them. Leading to chronic stress that can precipitate major health problems, including heart disease and cancer, the top two causes of premature death. During the show I’ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when a person is being affected by higher ego flexibility energy in their encounters with stressors and stress. I’ll also be looking at specific ego insights needed to transform higher ego flexibility into a healthier and more balanced place.

Unfortunately, for those with higher ego flexibility they often cope with stressors and stress by listening too often to others and too little to themselves. Their openness and flexibility opens the door to getting “help” from the wrong people, with the wrong ideas about what they should or should not do, to handle a particular health, financial, or relationship stressors—only they don’t know it. Their naivete and gullibility making them good candidates to be the “blind following the blind” in which the intentions and questionable background/experience of those being followed is often overlooked. Unrecognized personal needs to be accepted, respected, trusted, and belonging to those being followed enhance the potential to be unquestioning followers and “true followers.” Roles they may find their way into living, until they awaken to their ego energy, include the Adult Child, the Cultist, and the Puppet.

I was thinking of calling this podcast, “First, They Came For the Homeopaths.”

Anyone who grew up in the post World War II world is familiar with the confessional quote by German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller:

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I am deeply saddened to report that we seem to be on a similar track here in “Not-see America.”

The COVID crisis and lockdown has been an excellent excuse to censor and de-platform many forms of alternative medicine, particularly those that cannot be owned or controlled by big pharma. This is nothing new. Only now, it has become more blatant.

Our guest this week homeopathic expert and author Dana Ullman, will discuss the issue of medical totalitarianism and what we can do about it. He will also reveal some research on what the 1919 pandemic got wrong, and how those misunderstandings are leading to deaths in 2021.
