Roles People Live – The Racist

This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely at people who are living in the role of the Racist. A person who believes that race should have a significant impact on how people who are understood and judged. They often view members of their own race as superior and those not of their own race as inferior. While racism is still widespread in today’s society, they exhibit thoughts and behaviors more overtly than most people and do not question their immorality. The Racist looks upon people of a particular group as lacking in their thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. This often serves as a basis for overt and covert discrimination against this group. They are prone to recognize or emphasize what is different about this group and fail to recognize what is similar to their own racial group. They also stereotype and generalize about members of a particular racial group while failing to recognize dissimilarities and the diversity which exists within this group.

During this show, I’ll be drawing upon my book The Two Voices Within to look at the impact of lower ego flexibility on the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of those living in the role of the Racist. I’ll be looking at the “voice” of ego and the messages the Racist is experiencing and working with due to the mixture of their lower ego flexibility and their mind. Many of them, the Racist is unaware of, but still exerting a powerful impact on their life and unfortunately others. I’ll also be looking at what their ego energy is doing to block the Racist from hearing the voice of spirit which is rooted in their Divinity. An inability to recognize the Love, Life, and Energy—God Is, within their being, due to the great distance being created by their ego energy. When the Racist is able to “hear” the mistruth contained within ego’s voice and the truth in spirit’s voice, the door to transformation can open, and the days of living in the role of Racist can be ended.
