( an educational platform for families and providers. Her writing has also appeared in The Huffington Post, Grown and Flown, and Modern Loss.

Caryn serves as chair of the Patient and Family Advisory Council for Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. She is also a nonprofit consultant and executive coach working with mission-driven organizations in human services, healthcare, education, social justice, and the arts.
