Those who have had a daily meditation practice over time are aware of the benefits including stress reduction, mental clarity, body relaxation, a reduction of chronic pain and a sense of peacefulness. Medical research has recently documented that there are healing and physiological benefits. A 2015 study conducted by UCLA showed that long term meditators had healthier brain function and grey matter.
