My life has been a unique journey. It has been the perfect process of unlocking from within me my greatest potential. Our lives are a series of events that draw from within us the lessons and abilities we require to live our purpose in the world. The first 20 years of my life, I experienced abuse of every kind. My survival became dependent upon a certain kind of selective amnesia in which I kept the unimaginable trauma from my conscious life in order to cope well enough to continue living. At the age of 21 I started my journey of recovery and healing. I had reached a point where I was strong enough to be able to handle the truth of my life and willing to do the work required. That included remembering what I had been keeping hidden within myself and finding a way to re-member, to bring back together, all of these pieces so that I could be whole.

From these experiences I have become intimately acquainted with the process re-membering (bringing back to wholeness) and navigating the Inner World; of healing emotionally, of identifying and replacing beliefs, realigning thoughts, knowing how to tap into the power that I have to create my life consciously, the impact all of this has on the physical body and how to create and support cellular level healing.

As each of the four bodies – Spiritual, Intellectual, Emotional and Physical – is supported in its own healing process, they all come together to create wholeness, oneness and a heightened sense of self awareness and connection with the Divine. Through the gifts and knowledge I have been given to survive and heal I am able to guide and teach others how to create Holistic Healing and Whole-being for themselves.

I have long been a student of Art as an outlet of expression for the way we see, feel and experience life. Expression is a powerful tool that can be utilized as a road map to our own healing. By tapping into channels of expression, whether outward expression through mediums of creation or inward expression through our body, we bring that which is inside outside of ourselves. By so doing we are able to access a whole new perspective on who we are and what we’re actually trying to say; what we are yearning for, what is flowing and what is blocked. As we tap into the power of expression as a form of release, acknowledgement, learning, and a way to open our mind to align with our heart, we access a heightened sense of self awareness. Self awareness in turn allows us choice and the opportunity to grow and heal. Without it, we keep ourselves locked in the same confining patterns that have held us.

We each have the ability to express. We each have our own genius that connects us to truth. I believe the beauty, power, guidance and inspiration we seek in the world is found inside ourselves. The greatest journey we take is the one to navigate our soul. My purpose is to be a guide.

But in reality those warm and fuzzy feelings often don’t last for long. Above 60% of adoption reunions actually end in tears. Kimberly Smythe’s reunion with her daughter Kelcey, after 18 years apart, is one such case.
