When I began watching JP on his terrific YouTube channel: Awaken With JP — not only was I entertained while learning about necessary spiritual lessons, I was inspired to respond with my own brand of lunacy.

Initially, my goal was to challenge JP to a “Who Is More Spiritual” competition, but I realized that it would probably crush him because — clearly — it’s obvious who that is. *wink*

On a serious note, inviting him to be a guest on Radio Nahmaste wasn’t easy. He was the first person I did not know personally or who had not been introduced to me by a friend. I am indebted to JP for assisting me (without even knowing it) with the final process necessary to dump my fear of success or failure as a Radio Host. He was a reachable celebrity without being aloof or arrogant. His response was encouraging and I’m delighted to give him all the credit for helping me “jump” into my decision regarding how dedicated I should be about my work. I have a mental image of him reminding me to check my parachute as I jump off the bottom stair ten inches off the ground. In any case, the paradox behind becoming serious while using humor as a doorway does not escape me.
