Aired Wednesday, 23 September 2015, 12:00 PM ET
William suffered a brain injury at birth. This had him later diagnosed with abnormal brain activity and ADD. Though he had aspirations to become a writer, his thoughts and writing were disorganized and unclear. Then he found Transcendental Meditation and everything changed. Join us for an inspiring conversation and in-depth look at the power of meditation with William T. Hathaway.
About Guest William T. Hathaway
William T. Hathaway began his writing career as a newspaper reporter in San Francisco, then joined the Special Forces to write a book about war. A WORLD OF HURT won a Rinehart Foundation Award for its portrayal of the psychological roots of war: the emotional blockage and need for patriarchal approval that draw men to the military. SUMMER SNOW tells of an American warrior in Central Asia who falls in love with a Sufi Muslim and learns from her an alternative to the military mentality. RIP AND BURN is a young-adult novel about a boy learning the futility of violence and the need for peaceful communication. RADICAL PEACE: People Refusing War presents the true stories of activists who have moved beyond protest into direct action, becoming criminals for peace by defying the government’s laws and impeding its capacity to kill. WELLSPRINGS: A Fable of Consciousness is set in 2026 as an old woman and a young man battle the corporations that control the remaining water resources after the earth’s ecosystem has broken down under human abuse. LILA, THE REVOLUTIONARY is a fable for adults about an eight-year-old Indian girl who sparks a world revolution for social justice. Hathaway was a Fulbright professor of creative writing and American studies at universities in Germany, where he currently lives. A selection of his writing is available at: http://www.peacewriter.org

Finding Hope in Dire Times: Ocean Country by Liz Cunningham
Aired Tuesday, 22 September 2015, 11:00 AM ET
One Woman’s Voyage from Peril to Hope in Her Quest to Save the Seas – Liz Cunningham shows us how people around the world are practicing “hope in action” and why it’s time for all of us to join them. After Liz Cunningham was nearly swallowed by a rogue wave in a kayaking accident in which she was temporarily paralyzed, she was left with a sense of despair and alienation from the waters that she had always turned for solace and healing.
As she recovered physically, Cunningham vowed that she would reconnect with the ocean and recover hope – hope for herself and for the planet’s ailing waters. Cunningham shares her two-year global journey to discover how communities and individuals are fighting to save the marine world that every living being depends on and how they are creating hope through action in dire times.
Cunningham shows us how people throughout the world are beginning to see that we can have hope, that we must act, and – most importantly – that the two are interdependent.
OCEAN COUNTRY is an adventure story, a call to action, and a poetic meditation on the state of the seas – but most of all – it is a story of finding true hope in the midst of one of the greatest crises to face humankind.
Twenty-one percent of royalties will be given to the New England Aquarium’s Marine Conservation Action Fund (MCAF), which aims to protect and promote ocean biodiversity through funding of small-scale, time-sensitive, community-based programs. This amount was chosen to highlight the percentage of oxygen in each breath we take and that the fact that over one half of that oxygen comes from marine plants and algae in the ocean.

Using Systems and Technology to Your Advantage
Monday Sep 21, 2015
Monday Sep 21, 2015
Aired Monday, 21 September 2015, 4:00 PM ET
Join Simone Milasas, author of Joy of Business & international speaker, as she speaks with Michelle Edhouse, a creator on the Joy of Business Team, Certified Access Consciousness Facilitator and JCF, about tools to create greater ease and possibilities in your business.
Do you love technology or are you intimidated by it? What if you could use technology and all of the systems now available to your advantage? What systems could allow your business to grow and change? Michelle Edhouse will take you through how to identify what structures you may be using that are not allowing your business to create greater, and give you new tools to create greater.
About Guest Michelle Edhouse
Michelle Edhouse has always thought of herself as a normal middle class girl with an engineering/mathematical brain, but she always knew there was more available than what she saw those around her choosing.
You could say she was always seeking. Meditation, palmistry, Amway and Avatar were just some of the places she looked to find what else may be possible.
When she heard about Access Consciousness and read what she could find online there was such a lightness about it she rang a facilitator and said “I want to do this class”. Since then her and her husband Glenn have done many of the Access Consciousness classes including the facilitator training.
Michelle has used the tools and techniques in Access to open up possibilities in business (www.WWWebsites.co.nz) and creativity (www.McEArt.co.nz) by clearing out limitations and asking “what else is possible here?”
“When I did my first Access class my facilitator heard that I had done computers at Uni and said ‘Oh you could build me a website then’. What about doing computers at Uni 12 years ago says I can’t build a website now? Ok let’s put these tools to work.”

Sunday Sep 20, 2015

How traveling to Australia and meeting a special group of aboriginal healers changed his whole life around.
Also discover the 60,000-year-old healing system of the remote Australian Aboriginal culture revealed through one man’s journey to overcome multiple sclerosis. Learn the role played by thought in the creation of health or disease, and the five essential steps in the Aboriginal healing process. Explore how to activate the powerful healer within You!
About Guest Robbie Holz
Robbie Holz is an international speaker, holistic wellness consultant, and award-winning author of the memoirs, Secrets of Aboriginal Healing and Aboriginal Secrets of Awakening.
Her life was drastically altered in 1985 after she contracted hepatitis C from a blood transfusion. Due to her reaction to the hepatitis treatment, she developed fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and became bedridden for over 6 months.
Going on a quest for wellness, Robbie met Dr. Gary Holz, a physicist, Psycho-Neuro-Immunologist and alternative healer. Gary taught her the Aboriginal healing techniques he learned from his encounter with remote Outback Australian Aboriginals, chronicled in the award-winning memoir Secrets of Aboriginal Healing.
Using the Aboriginal methods, Robbie healed herself of hepatitis C, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.
The two eventually married. Like her husband, Robbie has had firsthand experiences with Outback Aboriginal Australians. She joined Gary in teaching the over 60,000-year-old Aboriginal healing system, revealed at the tribe’s request. Started in 1995, their healing practice centered on Aboriginal healing principles, quantum physics and Psycho-Neuro-Immunology — using the mind to heal the body.
Working as a husband and wife team until his passing in 2007, Robbie helped many people successfully restore their health from such challenges as juvenile arthritis, cancer and sports injuries.
Robbie continues to expand Dr. Holz’s work and spread the Aboriginal healing beliefs through Holz Wellness. Dedicated to creating a healthier world, she empowers people by helping them activate their powerful inner healer.
Through her global speaking events, private consultations, popular online self-healing course and award-winning books, Robbie helps others awaken their powerful inner healer so they heal faster and stay healed.
