The Value of Forgiveness
Sunday Nov 22, 2015
Sunday Nov 22, 2015
Aired Sunday, 22 November 2015, 9:00 PM ET
Have you heard the proverb that, Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and hoping that the other person dies?
Or, how about the old adage that, Holding a grudge is like letting someone live rent-free in your head?
These are not clichés, these are powerful spiritual truths.
Regardless of your point of view it is apparent that mankind must decide to make different choices when it comes to the intolerance of one another, or life on our planet will become insufferable.
The missing ingredient that we need most is forgiveness. Forgiveness of others. As well as, self-forgiveness, which is the highest and most potent vibrational form of forgiveness that there is.
Without forgiveness our world will remain stuck in a pattern of fear, hatred, anger, and insanity. And, yes … terrorism. This is why A Course In Miracles teaches that our only purpose is to forgive.
Forgiveness is the most important teaching in all of mankind’s history. And, today mankind has been invited, by the tumultuous events that we are seeing around the world, to choose to remember the value of forgiveness.
Which is why I invite you to listen to this show and to remember that there is a roadmap that leads to peace.
