Adam Weller – Addict Within
Aired Thursday, 2 May 2019, 4:00 PM EST / 1:00 PM PST
Pennie and Matthew have a special guest Adam Weller joining the show and we will be discussing the “Addict Within” this week. We all know beating addiction is a tricky one, on one hand you need the strength and will power to say no while on the other hand it’s about getting to know the “addictive part of self”. There is a great saying “what you resist persists”. To resist the “addictive part of self” is just like adding fuel to the fire, it’s far better idea not to make it wrong or right, it just is.
If you have an active “addict within” yourself its really important take the time to get to know it as the power can hold us hostage and can consume our lives. We will discuss and explore different ways to beat addiction and that’s not about trying to force them into submission.
Looking further to being with you again this week discussing a subject that is so misunderstood.

Rabbi Joshua Hammerman – Mensch-Marks
Aired Wednesday, 1 May 2019, 8:00 PM ET
We are all human begins. We live in a time when our humanity seems to be tested on an almost daily basis. Recent violent attacks on people of faith from many religions in many lands anger us, sadden us, befuddle us and leave us asking the eternal question, “Why”? What can each of us individually and collectively do to turn this around, find our common humanity, bring light where there is darkness and love where there is hate? How may we express in our daily lives the ideal that is found in the basic tenets of virtually every faith, to love our neighbors as ourselves?
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Rabbi Joshua Hammerman, refers us to the ancient Jewish oral law called the Talmud which says, “In a world that lacks humanity, be human.” Rabbi Hammerman is the spiritual leader of Temple Beth El in Stamford, Connecticut. He is a regular contributor to The New York Jewish Week, The Times of Israel, The Jewish Telegraphic Agency and The Religion News Service. His personal essays have appeared in the New York Times Magazine and The Washington Post. He is the winner of the 2018 Religion News Association Award for Excellence in Commentary. He has served as the president of the Interfaith Council of Southwestern Connecticut, The Stamford Board of Rabbis and as Chaplain for the Stamford Police Department. He is a rabbi, journalist, father, husband, Red Sox fan and an aspiring mensch.
He joins me this week to discuss his story and his just released book, Mensch-Marks—Life Lessons of a Human Rabbi.

TOPIC: Trance Channel for Saint Germain: Love Based Methods for Creating Lasting Change
Jane began her work as a spirit medium simply by hearing the voice of Saint Germain and sharing his messages. However, very soon Jane began to speak his words as a trance channel. As a trance channel Jane is conscious during her work with clients. Saint Germain uses her mind and voice to communicate the information being conveyed. The medium allows the ego to step aside in order for this connection to be established. Jane works from a Christian Foundation with people all over the world from her home in Southwest Ohio. Many lives have been changed as her clients gain a deeper understanding of their soul’s purpose. Jane teaches Spiritual Development classes on-line. She is the author of four channeled books. Her most recent book is entitled, “Death What Is It?”

Gary Stroutsos – A Passion For Sound Travelling
Aired Wednesday, 1 May 2019, 12:00 PM EST / 9:00 AM PST
Evoking a spirit of place and the voices of the land, Gary’s Stroutsos musical works includes internationally-acclaimed recordings at sacred sites, using the unique acoustics and history of each great space as the starting point for musical exploration:
A shared moment in a timeless place, where flute melodies, ancestral and modern, play off one another and songs come alive, buoying and breathing through the generations.
In over thirty recordings, including a number of recordings made on location from the plains of the Dakotas, to the canyon lands of the Southwest, to the shores of the Pacific Coast, Stroutsos has created a body of work which expresses a passion for sound traveling:
Music without borders.
Gary’s New Album Reflections of the Taj Mahal: A Tribute To Paul Horn is Serene, spacious, and floating, and pays tribute to one of the greats–the highly innovative and jazz-minded improviser Paul Horn, who is often (incorrectly, says Gary!) referred to as “the grandfather of New Age music.” This new album is a perfect soundtrack for yoga, meditation, driving, the healing arts, and more.
