Muriel Anderson – Graceful Joy
Aired Monday, February 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM PST / 2:00 PM EST / 6:00 PM GMT / 7:00 PM CET
One of the world’s foremost fingerstyle guitarists and harp-guitarists, Muriel Anderson’s evident joy of music, humor, and facility across the genres of folk, classical, bluegrass, popular, and international music is revered by guitarists worldwide. An engaging performer, Muriel’s unique approach to the instrument virtually transforms the guitar into a lyrical choir, then a marching band, then a Japanese koto, then a Bluegrass band, one-minute launching into a Beatles’ tune and the next, a Spanish classic.
Muriel is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship and has performed/recorded with Chet Atkins, Les Paul, Victor Wooten, and the Nashville Chamber Orchestra. Her CD “Nightlight Daylight” was chosen as one of the top 10 CDs of the decade by Guitar Player Magazine. Her “Heartstrings” recording accompanied the astronauts on the space shuttle Discovery. Join Kara Johnstad and guitarist, composer, educator, and Muriel Anderson in a heartfelt conversation on the transformational power music carries to heal our world and mend our hearts. Discover Muriel’s passion as an educator and how we can encourage and inspire kids to make more music and even, in some cases, turn their lives around and why it’s music that makes the world go round.

Terry Lovelace – Incident at Devils Den
Aired Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 5:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM EST
I’ve openly shared on my podcasts, at conventions, with friends and family, and within my professional community, of my UFO sightings and contact experiences that date back to my childhood in the 1950’s. I was never concerned about ridicule or being believed because these were my personal, valid experiences. Professionally, my sharing was often received with smirks, smiles and eye rolling, but it did not jeopardize my career or reputation. In retrospect I was fortunate. What about those who are reticent to share these experiences because they fear ridicule, ostracizing and loss of professional respect and standing.
My guest this week on Vox Novus, Terry Lovelace, kept the secret of his alien abduction for many years for these very reasons. Terry Lovelace is a six-year veteran of the USAF. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a law degree from Western Michigan. His legal career began in private practice until his appointment as an assistant attorney general for the U.S. Territory of American Samoa, he also served as an assistant attorney general for the State of Vermont until his 2012 retirement. He and a friend were abducted from Devil’s Den State Park in northwest Arkansas in June of 1977, while remote camping. They were both on active duty at the time. In 2012 a routine leg x-ray discovered two anomalous objects in his leg. That event was the catalyst to write and speak publicly about his experiences. For fear of losing his position, and the respect of his peers in the legal community, he waited until 2018 to self-publish INCIDENT AT DEVILS DEN, a #1, highly reviewed, Bestseller on Amazon. His second book, DEVILS DEN: THE RECKONING was published the week of Christmas 2020. It was #1 in New Releases and hit Bestseller status, ranking at #4 in early January.
Since March 2018, he has been a radio/podcast guest more than one-hundred times for hosts that including George Knapp, George Noory, Linda Moulton Howe, and Jimmy Church. He has spoken at the UFO Congress, Contact in the Desert, Roswell, and is a scheduled speaker at the Ozark Digital Conference set for April 2021 and at Contact in the Desert in May of 2021. His story was featured on an episode of the Travel Channel’s “MY HORROR STORY” which originally aired in November 2019. His website is https://www.terrylovelace.com/ and he joins me this week to share his story.

Serge Kahili King – Harnessing the Transformative Power of Dreams
Aired Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 4:00 PM PST / 7:00 PM EST
According to the Talmud, “a dream which is not interpreted is like a letter which is not read.” According to Edgar Cayce, “Dreams are today’s answers to tomorrow’s questions.” And according to someone I once knew, “dreams are love letters from the soul.”
We all dream even if we don’t remember our dreams, and no one has been able to come up with a convincing answer as to why we do it. But, personally, I like the explanation proffered by Professor of Psychiatry and one the one of the world’s leading authorities on Sleep Medicine, the late William Charles Dement who claimed that “dreaming permits each and every one of us to be quietly and safely insane every night of our lives.”
In this episode, Sandie is joined by psychologist, shaman, and author Serge Kahili King, PhD, whose latest book Dreaming Techniques: Working with Night Dreams, Daydreams, and Liminal Dreams explores techniques to help us harness the power of dreams for healing, transformation, and changing your experience of reality.
Topics include:
• Dreams and Memory – is there a difference?
• The Power of Liminal Dreams for Manifestation and Self-understanding
• Techniques for enhancing the dream experience
• Practical methods to induce lucid dreaming and create healing thoughtforms
And more…
SERGE KAHILI KING, PhD is the author of many works on Huna and Hawaiian shamanism, including Urban Shaman and Instant Healing. He has a doctorate in psychology and was trained in shamanism by the Kahili family of Kauai as well as by African and Mongolian shamans.

Susan Klopfstein – Soul Contracts
Air Date 11 February 2021 at 3:00 PM ET/12:00 PM PT
Our topic is soul contracts. What are soul contracts and how do they relate to past lives. What is the best way to work with a soul contract? How do contracts differ from agreements? What can we do to make the contract work more in our favor? Does having a soul contract indicate you have a soulmate? Does our contract say when we’ll be called to the other side of the veil?
BIO:
Susan Klopfstein is a soul scientist, psychotherapist, spiritual healer and founder of Soulwealth©, a healing process that begins where psychotherapy leaves off. Susan graduated Summa Cum Laude with a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the national University in Irvine, CA. She has dedicated more than 20 years to developing and mastering her Soulwealth© healing techniques, which identify the unique spiritual wealth of information, knowledge and experience held in the heart of every client. In addition, Susan is a career counselor who helps clients identify their intelligence type, relational gifts, communication styles and functional talents to define their joy job and life purpose. Uncovering this wealth of information heals and transforms the soul’s path leading to a new soul trajectory and a life of fulfilling relationships, purposeful mission and abundant financial returns. Susan is not afraid of dysfunction and is prepared to tackle any client challenge. She launched her healing career as an intern assessing dual diagnosis clients suffering from addictions and personality disorders at the Orange County Clinic in Costa Mesa, California. She also interned at Laguna Beach Community Clinic as a Marriage and Family Therapist working with couples, children, and families on crisis recovery issues. Working in private practice with Dr. Wayne Heart, she gained valuable experience counseling patients with dissociative and personality disorders.
As the former Communications and Marketing Manager for Toshiba America, Susan uses her business experience to help clients running companies improve their business plans. While working at Toshiba, she created and implemented the award-winning In Touch national advertising campaign for Toshiba Corporate and the Toshiba Telecommunications Systems Division. She also developed the crisis management campaign Toshiba used to overcome the “silent-submarine” scandal after a Toshiba subsidiary was caught illegally selling machines used for quieting submarine propellers to the Soviet Union in 1987. During her years at Toshiba, Susan managed an annual budget of $9.4 million and oversaw the advertising launch of 15 new products.
Susan’s name indicates that she can learn anything once the foundation has been taught to her. She likes her instructor to be nearby in order to immediately answer questions. Once Susan understands the foundation, she is no longer dependent on the teacher and wishes to kindly let the teacher know that services are no longer required. Susan’s name indicates that she does not care to be micromanaged in the least. Her name also indicates that she wishes to make the world a better place.
I’m so pleased that Susan has agreed to join me the second week of every even month right here on Luminescence, Common Sense Spirituality Radio show.

Pete Earley – Crazy: A Father’s Search Through America’s Mental Health Madness
Air Date Live Streaming on OMTimes TV 4 February at 12:00 PM ET/9:00 AM PT
Watch the Live Stream at OMTimesTV Youtube or OMTimes Radio & TV Facebook
Former Washington Post reporter Pete Earley had written extensively about the criminal justice system. But it was only when his own son—in the throes of a manic episode—broke into a neighbor’s house that he learned what happens to mentally ill people who break a law.
This is the Earley family’s compelling story, a troubling look at bureaucratic apathy and the countless thousands who suffer confinement instead of care, brutal conditions instead of treatment, in the “revolving doors” between hospital and jail. With mass deinstitutionalization, large numbers of state mental patients are homeless or in jai––an experience little better than the horrors of a century ago. In his Pulitzer prize-nominated book, Crazy – A Father’s Search Through America’s Mental Health Madness, award-winning journalist and best-selling author, Pete Earley takes us directly into that experience—and into that of a father and award-winning journalist trying to fight for a better way.

Mike Anthony – Love, Dad: How My Father Died… Then Told Me He Didn’t
Aired Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 5:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM EST
Since the passing of my mother in January 2020, my brother, sister, and I have had many wonderful signs and messages that her presence is with us. With so many friends having similar losses in the era of COVID-19, I shared the following in my “Aphorisms” notes:
Life, in this dimension, is finite.
Our essential selves are infinite.
As we mourn loss in the temporal,
let us embrace the permanent
and never forget that love is eternal.
There are those who truly embrace this and, in their grief, are comforted by the presence of the essential selves of their loved ones. But what of those who do not feel this and those who doubt that this communication, this contact, is even possible?
My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Mike Anthony, was a skeptic until a series of events proved to him that love survives death. Mike Anthony has been a professional actor and a (not-professional) bartender. It was in the role of the latter that he was lucky enough to experience from an up-close perspective the ride that, Hamilton: An American Musical, took as it rocketed into Broadway history. His first book, Life at Hamilton, chronicles his extraordinary time there. Beyond his life in theater, Mike’s journey took an unexpected turn when his dad passed, leading him down a remarkable path of discovery. He now spends a good portion of his time exploring evidence suggestive of the survival of consciousness beyond the demise of the physical body. A part of Mike’s story is shared in the Netflix™ documentary series, “Surviving Death.” His website is https://www.mikeanthony.com/ and he joins me this week to share his story and his book, Love, Dad: How My Father Died… Then Told Me He Didn’t.
