Betsy Pool – The Story of Everything: A New and Ancient Mythology of Humanity Revealed

If there’s one story that has fascinated humans throughout time it is humanity’s origin story––Who are we? Where did we come from? How did we get here? What is our purpose? And where are we going? Every culture has its own mythology, its own creation story. But this week we are going to be discussing a lost mythology that has reawakened to unite the mosaic of individual stories into a singular narrative. It is a bold, new, and at the same time ancient story that has recently been brought to light in part 1 of a 3-part documentary series that has just been released via the Internet.

BETSY POOL is a master storyteller, writer-producer, director, and narrator of The Story of Everything – A New and Ancient Mythology of Humanity Revealed, which lays out, point by extraordinary point, an alternative history of humanity that stretches far outside the history books. An award-winning screenwriter with an extensive production background in Broadway theatre, film, and television, she is co-founder of Wake-Up! The Association for the Advancement of Consciousness, based in Klagenfurt, Austria as well as The Institute for the Mythology of Humanity, based at the Damanhur Community in Italy where she has resided since 2009, and where she started to reassemble a cohesive ancient history of humanity that is not reflected in the history books into a mythological narrative that could be shared as a catalyst for the world. She and partner use their ability to tap into the higher selves to provide private readings and group channeling sessions for clients.

Lower Ego Power and Difficulty Coping with Stressors and Stress

This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely into the mirror of our ability to cope with stressors and stress, that are a part of each of our lives. These include the work, health, financial, marital, and familial stressors that contribute to the build-up of stress in us over time, and which we are called upon to manage so that they don’t get the better of us. Stressors that can manage us rather than our managing them when we are failing to manage them. Leading to chronic stress that can precipitate major health problems, including heart disease and cancer, the top two causes of premature death. During the show I’ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when a person is being affected by lower ego power energy in their encounters with stressors and stress. I’ll also be looking at specific ego insights needed to transform lower ego power into a healthier and more balanced place.

Unfortunately, for those lower ego power they are often easily overwhelmed when confronted with financial, relationship, health, and work-related stressors. Their intense sense of disempowerment weakens their perceived ability to handle them on their own. Consequently, they often avoid dealing with stressors if they are happening, try to avoid being in situations that can lead to stress, or lean too much on others to handle the stressor for them, due to their sense of helplessness. This approach often leads to the fantasy in which they want to live in a stress-free life, which isn’t really living at all. Roles they may find their way into living, until they awaken to their ego energy, include the Dependent, the Depressive, and the Underachiever.
