Lower Ego Vulnerability and Difficulty Coping with Stressors and Stress

This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely into the mirror of our ability to cope with stressors and stress, that are a part of each of our lives. These include the work, health, financial, marital, and familial stressors that contribute to the build-up of stress in us over time, and which we are called upon to manage so that they don’t get the better of us. Stressors that can manage us rather than our managing them when we are failing to manage them. Leading to chronic stress that can precipitate major health problems, including heart disease and cancer, the top two causes of premature death. During the show I’ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when a person is being affected by lower ego vulnerability energy in their encounters with stressors and stress. I’ll also be looking at specific ego insights needed to transform lower ego vulnerability into a healthier and more balanced place.

Unfortunately, for those with lower ego vulnerability, they often have difficulty experiencing the healthy emotional warning signs to help them recognize stressors and if they are under stress. So, they have trouble experiencing the anxiety to cue them that somethings not right regarding what is happening in relationships, at work, in their health, or financial areas, that needs their attention. Thinking that everything is fine, when most certainly things are not fine, not even close to being fine. They can also be very stressful for the people they live with, who become frustrated with their failure to see and deal with the obvious problems, sooner rather than later, if ever. Roles they may find their way into living, until they awaken to their ego energy, include the Hedonist, the Logician, and the Inattentive Person.

In 2004, the renowned theologian and philosopher David Ray Griffin published a book called The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11. He was referring to a document released in 1997 by neoconservative think-tank, Project For A New American Century (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century) called Statement of Principles, Rebuilding America’s Defenses/. The document declared that to mobilize public opinion to support America’s 21st century military agenda, a “New Pearl Harbor” would be needed.

Griffin (https://bohemian.com/unquestioned-answers-1/) and numerous other “coincidence theorists” noted how conveniently the 9/11 attacks were used to justify the War on Terror, the Afghanistan invasion and Iraq War that have become the Forever War, with no end in sight. It also produced the so-called Patriot Act, which has led to the routine, thorough surveillance of American citizens that we have been asked to accept as “the new normal.”

Well folks, there is now a NEW “new normal” thanks to the current COVID crisis, that seeks to install more surveillance and more encroachment of natural rights and human liberties. Our guest this week, is MD and vaccine expert Dr. Meryl Nass. She, along with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. of Children’s Health Defense, has produced a well-researched – and frightening – document that offers damning evidence that effective early treatments for COVID-19 were intentionally withheld so that vaccines could be fast-tracked without trials as emergency measures.

Given how much we heard about how Donald Trump’s failure to handle the crisis and how many lives were lost as a result, it may be that many, many more lives were lost because these treatments were withheld.

Is this conspiracy theory or con’s piracy reality? Is there a smoking gun, and if so, what can be done about it?

Meryl Nass is on the front lines in this battle over – well, over which reality prevails.

Meryl Nass, MD, ABIM, is an internist with special interests in vaccine-induced illnesses, chronic fatigue syndrome, Gulf War illness, fibromyalgia, and toxicology. As a biological warfare epidemiologist, she investigated world’s largest anthrax epizootic, in Zimbabwe, and developed a model for analyzing epidemics to assess whether they are natural or man-made. She is also an expert on Gulf War Syndrome and its relationship to the anthrax vaccine given to troops. She has played a major role in creation of a coalition that has fought the Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program, and is active in assisting legal teams defending anthrax vaccine refusers and ill service members in the U.S. and Canada.

Inner Body Experience

In my weekly satsangs the question often comes up about astral travel and out of body experiences.

While those things can be interesting, and even a bit liberating for some, something in me always senses a certain desire to escape from the body. Which, for me, seems to really represent a desire to get out of one’s life.

The body is way more than we realize. It represents the entirety of your human existence.

Everything you know of as a human being is experienced through the body, its senses and its relationships with others and the world.

So why would we want to get out of it?

I am pretty convinced that this desire arises from our very early experiences of trauma that caused us to disconnect from our soul.

Look at children. They are in a constant state of emotional freedom, even bliss. The body is not an impediment. In fact, they don’t really even have a sense of having or being a body.

They are just alive.

When we get older and the burdens and struggles of first adolescence and then adulthood weigh on us, we naturally crave more freedom, to feel more of that exuberant we dimly remember from childhood.

So we seek peak experiences, anything from bungie jumping to spiritual elation.

I used to be one of those. I always thought there was some special state I could get to that would last forever. I had even tasted it, numerous times in spiritual illumination.

But it never lasted and, of course, it can’t. No experience can. I needed to find something deeper, more lasting.

Much to my surprise, I found that it wasn’t out there at all, it was in here.

The state I had been seeking was, in fact, my actual spiritual nature and, to my great surprise, the way to finding it and liberating its energy was through the body.

It was transcending the merely physical, but not disregarding it or somehow getting rid of it. It was to be transformed into something else, something truly divine.

The body represents an awe-inspiring intelligence. It reflects an intelligence that totally transcends intellect. It is a realm of intuitive knowing, spontaneous creation and, the big one, unrestricted happiness.

I could go on and on about this (and I most certainly will) but I will call it here and invite you all to my show tomorrow where I will be talking about it more.
