Pat Robertson Rice offers spiritual counseling services that will allow individuals to obtain the missing piece of information needed to come to terms with any issue being faced, decide on a proper course of action, and finally move forward in life. I had heard about Pat in 2007 when I was living in China and had a session. The first part of her reading was phenomenal and then I started to ask questions. The answers were hard to believe so I thought she was great at the first part that she provides prior to answers but not so good at them. Then, when departing China she re-listened to the tape. Every answer she had provided that I had found hard to accept was accurate. Pat works differently than everyone else I know and she has continued to be incredible.

A. R. Roberts – From Adam to Omega

These needs are typically met through employment, physical health, and mental wellbeing. Do we retreat to what is familiar? Do we focus only on a short-term goal for short-term gain, or do we see this as an opportunity to reboot, reinvent, revive, rejuvenate and gravitate to this “new norm of consciousness?”

Lower Ego Flexibility and Difficulty Resolving Conflict

This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely into the mirror of our ability to resolve the small and large conflicts, arguments, and disagreements that take place in our lives. These conflicts are inevitable because we each possess an individuality that makes us unlike anyone who has ever lived, is living, or will be living. It is this uniqueness in our being, rooted in our having been formed by a unique set of life events, relationships, and experiences, that sets the stage for this inevitable conflict. One of the tasks of life is to reconcile our differences in ways that can lead to growth and learning from conflict rather than the often seen distance and destructiveness that results from conflict. Conflicts that often last far too long, being fueled by the ego energy at work to keep them unresolved. Particularly, those involving our spouse or partner, parents, children, and siblings.

Unfortunately, for those with lower ego flexibility, conflicts are about their need to prove to themselves and others that they know and own the truth. Their mental rigidity and inflexible mind, blinds them to the awareness that much of what they think is based on their beliefs and not absolute truth, that they possess. The absence of this awareness intensifies conflicts that become more about proving they own the truth and less about the issue at hand. They also experience a fundamental weakness in that they think any different thoughts that others hold are deficient. Fostering a great deal of disregard and disrespect for those with whom they are in conflict. Roles they may find their way into living, until they awaken to their ego energy, include the Authoritarian, the Political Extremist, and the Religious Extremist.

During the show I’ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when a person is being affected by lower ego flexibility energy in their ability to work through and resolve conflicts. I’ll also be looking at specific ego insights needed to transform lower ego flexibility into a healthier and more balanced place.
