The Darkness is Not Scary Because We are the Light

Can you own your own darkness, be comfortable in it, and even thrive when darkness is present?

So often we try to avoid, dismiss, or ignore our inner darkness because we want to live in the light.

But we developed and grew in the womb in complete darkness before we were birthed into the light. And the darkness has never completely left us.

The darkness of the womb offered safety, nourishment, comfort, and a place to grow. But outside the womb, we have become very uncomfortable with the darkness within and around us.

We have learned to search for the light whenever the darkness appears because we think we cannot thrive unless we are in the light.

Yet the darkness can still offer us safety, nourishment, comfort, and a place to grow if we stop resisting it and get comfortable being the light that we are in the darkness of the day.

But how do we do this?
