This week on Expedition Self, we’ll be talking about, “How People Get Compromised.”

Most of us describe this idea of being compromised as a conscious decision to go against our inner knowing. And although this definition is one that surely fits, this week on Expedition Self we’re going to roll the clock back before obvious awareness and examine the ways we’re compromised long before we know it’s happening.

Whether it’s a mixed message throwing words against actions that just don’t sync up, or words that seem to invalidate and negate other directives, each of us lives with a whole slew of confusing and distorted moments. It’s a loaded package of emotional mayhem when you think about needing to listen to one’s inner guidance and at the same time, trying to assimilate into family/community.

After spending the month on a sort of self-exploration sabbatical, Sam is returning, LIVE and on air, to share her observations and create a wider space for this specific dimension of the heart, normally ensconced and overlooked in our psychological story telling.
