Internationally acclaimed best-selling author, spiritual teacher, and world-renowned medium, James Van Praagh has received hundreds of thousands of messages from the other side of life. And all too often, in many of these messages, the deceased have shared with him that they want the living to know how to utilize the power of love while they are still living life in the physical body.
In his new book, The Power of Love, James demonstrates the transformative energy and force of love. He reminds you that love knows no limits and can alter a person’s life forever. Sharing vivid personal stories and incredible knowledge from the afterlife, James shows how you can activate the power of love to open your heart to the world.
When you align yourself with loving thoughts, anxiety and worry will start to fade. Decisions that might have preoccupied you before will become easier to make. Difficult events and people will not be drawn to you, because you are learning to release that magnetic energy. Four Weeks to Awaken Your Life with Zoë Wild
Thursday Jan 05, 2017
Thursday Jan 05, 2017
Aired Thursday, 5 January 2017, 7:00 PM ET
Zoë Wild learned to meditate in the East, in Burma, where she was a Buddhist nun and lived in a monastery for nearly two years. When she gave up being a nun and returned to the west she was shocked to see how differently meditation was taught here. Instead of finding the peace and tranquility they were seeking, Zoe found that many people were struggling. Western meditation, she says, was causing people to move away from their lives, to reject their experience, to feel superior to others who couldn’t do it “properly” or didn’t adopt a certain lifestyle. People were spending more time reading, writing and talking about meditation than actually practicing it.
Her solution: a practical, fun course called Wild Meditation, which liberates meditation from the confines of the cushion, and uses playful exploration in the midst of daily life activities to help you discover the peace and wisdom that lives within you no matter what you are doing. Wild Meditation allows you to rest in your center as you express your unique, quirky, authentic self and open to the full range of experience life has to offer.
Zoë Wild joins Sandie Sedgbeer this week to discuss:
~ Why she made the transition from Buddhist nun to life coach, meditation teacher, activist, writer, and workshop presenter.
~ How meditation underpins the tireless work she does presenting trauma healing workshops, establishing women’s centers, funding students in Turkey, and working towards creating a world where every single person knows their essential, liberated nature and humanity lives in global unity.
~ How you can awaken your life in just four weeks with meditation.
~ And more…
About the Guest Zoë Wild
Zoë Wild is A former Buddhist nun, life coach, meditation teacher and writer, who facilitates workshops for people who have experienced trauma and to establish peace and reconciliation between cultures in conflict. Her education and employment span fields including spirituality, self-growth, meditation, healing trauma and PTSD, hospice care, working with veterans, prisoners and bereaved children, activism, business development and international non-profit organization. What’s more, she maintains that meditation plays a vital role not only in envisioning the world she believes we should be living in, but also in actively working to create it.
Her foundation, One Light Global is based on the premise that the path to world peace is through meeting every individual from the belief that we are one human family, that we all have one light inside of us, and that we can help each other to create a better world for all.

Discovering Your Destiny with Human Design
Thursday Dec 08, 2016
Thursday Dec 08, 2016
Aired Thursday, 8 December 2016, 7:00 PM ET
Have you ever stopped to consider what special, unique qualities you have to offer the world — what it is that comes naturally to you and through you?
According to Chetan Parkyn, just like the storyline of a book, or the theme music to a movie, there is a unique, consistent and recognizable theme, or undercurrent, to your entire lifetime. It is your song, your part in the symphony of life, and only you can play it.
An expert on Human Design, and the author of the first major book on the subject, Chetan Parkyn says that knowing and accepting your particular Life Theme is truly transformative. Embodying this awareness gives you reassurance and clarification about your life purpose. It is like when the penny drops, or the light bulb goes on, and you just ‘get it.’ You will no longer have to deal with misplaced expectations held over you by others, nor will you have to wonder why someone else is being moved to live in completely different ways than yourself, because you will understand the secret essence of what quietly moves you through life, and how to reach directly into the source of your own fulfillment.
This week, Chetan Parkyn joins Sandie to discuss his latest work, The Book of Destinies: Discover the Life you Were Born to Live, which reveals the final step in the Human Design system – 192 variations of Life Themes, which reveal to us the intended storyline of our lives.
Says, Parkyn, “like the coding in your genetics, your Life Theme is something that resonates within your whole being, on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. When you attune your awareness to your Life Theme, you will find it completely natural to embrace. You will finally understand your life’s purpose and journey, and once you know your own Life Theme you will be fascinated to learn the Themes of everyone in your life.
About the Guest Chetan Parkyn
CHETAN PARKYN is the author of the first major book on the subject, “Human Design, Discover the Person You Were Born to Be”, now in 11 languages, and has conducted over 5000 Human Design readings for people across the globe.
His latest book, “The Book of Destinies, Discover the Life You Were Born To Live.” which took 20 years to create, describes in depth, each of the 192 different Life Themes available for our life on Earth. Understanding your own very particular Life brings a personal awakening that is deeply transforming.

Together with his wife and partner, Carola Eastwood, a gifted Reader and Life and Business Success Coach, Chetan offers readings, mentorship and multiple classes in Human Design for those who wish to study it at any level.

Buddha’s Diet: The Ancient Art Of Losing Weight Without Losing Your Mind With Dan Zigmond And Tara Cottrell
Aired Thursday, 3 November 2016, 7:00 PM ET
There’s a lot we don’t know about the Buddha. For one, the real Buddha as thin. And before he became the “Enlightened One,” he was a pampered prince named Siddhartha. He tried starving himself in his quest for inner peace, but found that extremes brought him no closer to enlightenment. Instead, he sought a “middle way” between unhealthy overindulgence and unrealistic abstinence. The instructions he gave his monks about eating more than 2,500 years ago were surprisingly simple.
Fast forward to today. Cutting Edge scientific research tells us something Buddha knew all along; it’s not what you eat, but when you eat that’s most important. You don’t need to follow the latest fads or give up your favorite foods. You just need to remember a few guidelines that Buddha provided – guidelines that, believe it or not, will help you lose weight, feel better, and stop obsessing about food.
Join Sandie Sedgbeer and guests Dan Zigmond and Tara Cottrell as they discuss:
* Buddha’s diet – what is it, and why is it so successful?
* How changing your eating clock is an ancient technique for wellness that Buddha recommended thousands of years ago.
* How to shut down emotional eating by separating the emotion from the food choice
* How changing your eating clock and aligning it with your circadian rhythm can bring balance and weight loss
* and more…

The Bosnian Pyramids Revealed with Dr. Sam Osmanagich
Thursday Oct 27, 2016
Thursday Oct 27, 2016
Aired Thursday, 27 October 2016, 7:00 PM ET
According to the latest evidence, everything we thought we knew about pyramids and the ancient civilizations that built them is wrong. In 2005, anthropology professor “Dr. Sam” Osmanagich discovered the first pyramids on European soil—the lost pyramids of Bosnia. After many thousands of hours of archaeological digging, sample testing, radiocarbon dating and several scientific conferences, this discovery shows that our view of the ancient past needs to be changed. The Bosnian Pyramids are the biggest and oldest pyramidal structures on the planet. Despite obstacles from cultural, media and political establishments, this project has grown to be the most active archaeological site anywhere, and yet, many well-known names in the archeological community still refuse to acknowledge that the Bosnian Pyramids are real. What are they afraid of?
Dr. Semir Osmanagich joins Sandie to discuss the Bosnian Pyramids, and share the riveting evidence he’s uncovered about their age, purpose and potential healing power.

Biomimicry – What We Can Learn From Nature Can Save Our World with Janine M. Benyus
Aired Thursday, 13 October 2016, 7:00 PM ET
Nature is far more wondrous that we think – in fact, as scientists across the globe are proving, the natural world is full of hidden design clues that can save our world. Biomimicry is a revolutionary new science that analyzes nature’s best ideas – spider silk and prairie grass, seashells and brain cells – and adapts them for human use. In her seminal book, Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature, science writer Janine Benyus reveals how nature is offering real solutions to human design challenges that can help us save our world– from creating toxin-free materials, to developing waste-free products and systems, to building entire cities that function like Redwood forests.
Topics will include:
* What leaves can teach us about gathering energy
* What spiders can teach us about weaving fibers
* What chimps can teach us about healing ourselves
* And much more…
About the Guest Janine M. Benyus
JANINE BENYUS is a biologist, author, innovation consultant, and self-proclaimed “nature nerd.” In her 1997 book, Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature, she names an emerging discipline that emulates nature’s designs and processes (e.g., solar cells that mimic leaves) to create a healthier, more sustainable planet. Since the book’s release, Janine has evolved the practice of biomimicry, speaking around the world about what we can learn from the genius that surrounds us.
In 1998, Janine co-founded the world’s first bio-inspired consultancy, Biomimicry 3.8 (formerly the Biomimicry Guild), bringing nature’s sustainable designs to 250+ clients including Boeing, Colgate-Palmolive, Nike, General Electric, Herman Miller, HOK architects, IDEO, Interface, Natura, Procter and Gamble, Levi’s, Kohler, and General Mills.
In 2006, she co-founded the Biomimicry Institute, a non-profit dedicated to making biology a natural part of the design process. The Institute hosts annual global biomimicry design challenges on massive sustainability problems, mobilizing tens of thousands of students and practitioners through the Global Biomimicry Network to solve those challenges, and providing those practitioners with the world’s most comprehensive biomimicry inspiration database, AskNature, to use as a starting place.
