Letting Go Again - Surviving And Thriving After Love And Loss With Kimberly Smythe
Healing Your Heart After Loss
If there’s one thing that none of us can avoid in life, it is the loss of a loved one. It doesn’t matter how we lose that person – whether through death, ill health, enforced distance, or their choice to reject our love and/or no longer be involved in our lives – loss can be both devastating and life-fracturing.
Love and loss are universal experiences and how we move through them can not only have a significant impact on our physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual health, but in some cases even the entire trajectory of our life. Loss is inescapable, and when one is deep in the grip of it, one can feel like the loneliest person on earth. So how do we survive loss? From where do we get the strength to cope with the devastating emotions that invariably crowd in to fill the void left by a loved one’s absence? Is there any gift in loss? If so, how does one let go enough to move beyond the pain and suffering to find it?
Author Kimberly Smythe spent decades suffering the overwhelming grief and myriad painful emotions that followed her excruciating decision to give up her first child to adoption when she found herself pregnant at the age of 16. Terrified at the thought of losing the love and approbation of her family, she instead chose to experience a different loss – a decision that, in her innocence, she never foresaw would lead to years of struggling to find a solution to the guilt, depression, grief and self-approbation that would follow in its wake. Years later, when, against all odds, she was reunited with her daughter, Smythe once again found herself having to let go and find a pathway through the loss of her daughter for different reasons.
Kimberly Smythe’s book, Letting Go Again, is a deeply personal story about her own experience, but in the telling it nonetheless offers important insights about such universal themes and emotions as grief, loss, regret and self-recrimination that we all encounter at some point in our lives. The gift it offers to the reader is that it calls us to challenge our perceptions about love, loss, acceptance, surrender, relationships, and letting go.

Ego, Evolution, and Making Sense of Our Times with Cate Montana
Why do peace and happiness elude us? Why are people so divided?
According to author Cate Montana, it’s happening because as a nation—as an entire species—we’ve forgotten who we really are. We have confused “self” with ego—the mental program (like a computer code) that gives us the illusion of individuality—an utterly false “reality” similar to what’s presented in the movie The Matrix.
The age-old struggle between love (exemplified by the open mind/open hand) and the fear-driven ego (the closed-mind/closed fist) can never be resolved until we understand who we really are. In this conversation Sandie and Cate Montana discuss what the ego is, how it’s born, how it thinks, and how the ego can be managed and expanded into what is known as transpersonal consciousness—the bridge consciousness between limited personal ego and the transcendent state of egoless enlightenment—a state of mind more aligned with the powerful I AM presence that is the true generator of peace, happiness and unification within.
Cate will also share some basic processes that will help listeners begin to move into transpersonal awareness.
About the Guest: Cate Montana
CATE MONTANA is the author of The E Word: Ego, Enlightenment & Other Essentials (Atria) and Unearthing Venus: My Search for the Woman Within. A dauntless explorer of inner and outer worlds, and the former editor of the Bleeping Herald newsletter for the hit indie movie What the Bleep Do We Know!? Cate has worked with plant medicines with shamans in the Amazon jungles of Peru, the Andes in Ecuador and the deserts of New Mexico, studied yoga in India, explored ancient South African ruins on horseback, hiked solo through England’s sacred sites, and much more. She has a master’s degree in psychology and writes and teaches about the ego, transpersonal and transcendent consciousness and quantum physics. She also writes for the UK magazine What Doctors Don’t Tell You and blogs for The Huffington Post. She lives in the Pacific Northwest.

What We Don’t Know About Love - Becoming An Everyday Avatar with Suzy Miller
Every once in a while, a person steps forward on the world stage whose gifts and abilities are so far beyond what we ordinarily encounter that the words just don’t exist to fittingly describe their impact on the lives of others. Such a person, in my experience, is Suzy Miller. A visionary speaker, author, telepathic communicator, multidimensional seer and pioneering founder of the groundbreaking Awesomism Practitioner Process, Suzy Miller single-handedly shifted the perception of what many regarded as a devastating disorder from Autism to Awesomism. In taking something that was synonymous with the word “broken”, and revealing its hidden potential, Suzy Miller not only transformed the lives and the outlook for thousands of parents and children worldwide, but also gave birth to a powerful new word that is rich with positive potential.
Now, in her latest body of work Everyday Avatars – The Journey Back to Love, Suzy Miller is once again weaving her transformative magic on our perceptions about love. Founded on the experiences and insights gained from the past 17 years of pioneering work with the higher consciousness of thousands of energetically sensitive kids, The Journey Back to Love process dramatically shifts all the places where many of us secretly believe we are broken because of lack of love in our past and/or our present and shifts our perception to I AM LOVE.
What does that mean? It means that when we perceive love differently we experience love differently. And when we experience love differently, we experience life and living as a human being in a greatly expanded way.
About the Guest: Suzy Miller
Suzy Miller is a visionary speaker, author, telepathic communicator, multidimensional seer and founder of the groundbreaking Awesomism Practitioner Process and Everyday Avatar: The Journey Back to Love Series.
A former Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, with a Masters Degree in Education, Suzy pioneered a shift in the perception of autism from an individual “disorder” to a collective revolution in human consciousness and has been playing in the field of leading edge consciousness ever since.

She twice collaborated with Dr. William Tiller, Professor Emeritus Stanford University and featured physicist in the movie “What The Bleep…” spearheading both The Autism Intention Healing Experiment as well as an experiment for the elevation of collective human consciousness.
A lifelong student of consciousness, Suzy has personally facilitated the growth and mastery of hundreds of Awesomism practitioners and thousands of private clients worldwide. In addition to continuing to support the full integration of unhealed aspects of Self through private sessions and the Journey Back to Love Series. Woman Incognito: Transexual Without Transition with Lee Schubert (Transcender Lee)
Thursday Jan 26, 2017
Thursday Jan 26, 2017
Aired Thursday, 26 January 2017, 7:00 PM ET
In 2017, the US Supreme Court is preparing to take up transgender rights for the first time in history, ruling on the question of whether transgender students are entitled to use bathrooms matching their gender identity. While the issue has only recently ignited a political firestorm across the country, transgender author Lee Schubert has dealt with an inner battle surrounding public restrooms throughout her life. In this show, Transcender Lee shares the details and questions raised in her book, Woman Incognito.
TOPICS INCLUDE:
* Why Lee has chosen not to change her body to make it more female
* What it means to really know who you are
* Gender, class, religion, race, sexual orientation and age – can we really transcend the stereotypes and cultural conditioning that society imposes upon us telling us who we are, and how we should think and behave?
* And what would happen if we did?
* And more…
About the Guest: Lee Schubert
Lee Schubert is the author of Woman Incognito: Transsexual without Transition, and a transsexual woman with a lifelong interest in both religion and politics. Active in both areas, she is on a mission to transcend boundaries of gender, race, religion, class, and sexual orientation. As a woman in a male body, Schubert has discovered that gender is not determined by physical sex, and has no interest in changing her body to make it appear more female—unlike most of the male-to-female transsexuals seen in the media.
Schubert holds two degrees in English and has acquired additional education in finance, religion, radio communications, and philanthropic studies. Her background includes involvement in numerous religious and political organizations. She has gained a deep appreciation of the diversity of human experience and encourages others to join in her mission to transcend traditional societal boundaries that confine and separate us unnecessarily. She lives with her wife in Morristown, New Jersey.
