Aired Wednesday, 13 May 2015, 2:00 PM ET
Today’s Rising Stars are David Rivinius, Kathleen Perkins and June Lundgren
David Rivinus was startled to discover that there is far less difference than you might think between the dreams we have at night and the events of our daytime hours, especially events that are unexpected or upsetting.
What was the inner call ferocious enough to wrench Kathleen Perkins from her three young children and husband of fourteen years? Feeling both liberated and lost—exhilarated, yet completely rudderless, Kathleen lurched forward on the age-old hero’s quest for self-discovery.
Coming from a long line of women with psychic and spiritual gifts, June Lundgren has communicated with animals and angels since childhood, and as a psychic medium and healer over the last thirty years she has had had many fascinating conversations with those on the other side.
About Guests David Rivinius, Kathleen Perkins and June Lundgren
David Rivinus began a decades-long fascination with dreams while working as an educational therapist at a mental health clinic in the 1970s. During this time he studied with Gestalt therapists who were dream experts. And over the course of this study, David was startled to discover that there is far less difference between the dreams we have at night and the events of our daytime hours, especially events that are unexpected or upsetting. Since then, he has lectured and facilitated workshops in multiple countries across Western Europe and the Americas, and he has now documented his findings in his book, Always Dreaming.

In her touchingly honest memoir, Flight Instructions: A Journey Through Guilt to Forgiveness, Kathleen Perkins chronicles the eventual decades-long journey that began at age thirty-three to answer an inner call ferocious enough to wrench her from her three young children and husband of fourteen years. A whole new world opened for her, that included an MA in gerontology, a PhD in Social Work and an academic career.
Mirroring the age-old tale of the hero/heroine’s quest for self-discovery, her story is about much more than abandonment; it is about filial love, healing, inner demons, forgiveness, spiritual awakening, magic wands, fairy dust, and redemption.

June Lundgren is a psychic medium, nurse, healer and author, whose lineage includes women with psychic and spiritual gifts of Scottish, Irish, and American Indian descent. June has had many paranormal experiences in the course of her life, some of which she describes in her books “A Mediums Guide To The Paranormal” and “Paranormal Encounters- books 1 and 2.” June has communicated with animals and angels since childhood. She likes to recall her clairvoyant grandmother’s advice: “Always keep an open mind, question everything, and never take anything for granted. There is more within this world and the next than either you or I can know.”

The Consciousness of Self-Healing, Aboriginal Healing, and King Arthur’s Kids
Aired Wednesday, 22 April 2015, 2:00 PM ET
Today’s Rising Stars are Lisa Warner, Robbie Holtz and Tyler Tichelaar.
Lisa Warner applied the body-mind discipline she used to become an elite figure skater to healing herself from cancer. We talk about her book, ‘The Simplicity of Self-Healing” – the inside-look at the consciousness Lisa used to heal her body.
Next, Robbie Holtz describes the healing secrets she and her husband learned in a remote Aboriginal village and the amazing expressions of telepathic power they experienced there and in themselves.
According to modern DNA research, if King Arthur did live and have children, then Arthurian scholar Tyler Tichelaar’s dramatic fictional series on the descendants of King Arthur just might have some truth to it
About Guests Lisa Warner, Robbie Holtz and Tyler Tichelaar
Lisa Warner is the author of “The Simplicity of Self-Healing.” She grew up as an elite figure skater with a healthy, fit, athletic body, which she knew was meant to stay healthy and fit for life. However, as time passed, she began to struggle along her life’s path. She fell into a depression and her health began to deteriorate.
As a life-long seeker of higher truths and expanded consciousness, from the moment Lisa realized that she was staring cancer in the face, she knew that she had to un-create it from its source: her consciousness. She put that awareness into action and began to address the emotional wounds she had been carrying. As she released the wounds, her body healed. During the course of her journey, she effectively erased disease from her body…and from her reality. She is now passionate about inspiring others to do the same.
“The Simplicity of Self-Healing” is the inside-look at the consciousness Lisa used to heal her body. It is designed to help readers see their bodies from a different perspective and help them to see that there is nothing wrong with their bodies…ever.

About Guest Jessica Maxwell
Nationally acclaimed travel writer Jessica Maxwell is the author of books on women’s adventure, fishing, golf and natural healing, and her work has been included in over two-dozen anthologies, notably Bill Bryson’s Best American Travel Writing 2000. She has fly-fished for Amazonian piranha for Forbes, hunted Norwegian grouse for Gourmet, chased wild mustangs for Travel & Leisure. Her earth-bound career took a sudden turn toward the mystical with the publication of her spiritual memoir, Roll Around Heaven (Beyond Words/ Simon & Schuster 2009), winner of two gold book awards.
A “results and evidence girl,” Jessica has given many RAH! Talks and Workshops on the confluence of science and spirituality, and, thanks to reader demand, now has a full and lively practice as a spiritual coach and hands-on healer. She has been a featured speaker at the Sun Valley Wellness Festival and is a regular presenter at Ghost Ranch Retreat Center in New Mexico. Deeply touched by her readers’ outpouring of spiritual loneliness, her presentations offer personal validation, scientific proof, and profound healing and hope to skeptics, cynics, the spiritual-but- not-religious, and Church-goers alike.
Her next book is about her healing work and her long-term love affair with the kingdom of Bhutan, her spiritual home for two decades. When she’s not in the Himalayas, Jessica lives in Western Oregon with her trial attorney husband, Tom Andersen, and two part-bobcat kitties who are an integral part of her healing team.
